Where's my turn then??
I have come out on the lucky side of most of the major engagements so far. Canton Is. would not have been so lightly defended had Suva fell a few weeks sooner. That 40th ID just would not give up.

Hi Torsten. What part is hanging you up? Is it the discount code? I screwed that part up and had to get Erik and Alex to fix it for me, but they were very fast.

No. The key should've arrived yesterday to allow me to download the game from my press/media account. But its not here, yet
Sitting behind an extremely slow connection, I won't be able to look into AE before tomorrow!

Ah, gotcha.

Back when I got WitP, I actually won it as a prize for winning that year's Matrix Fantasy Baseball league.  Similar situation waiting for the arrangements to be completed, I think.

At a guess I'd say there aren't any. There isn't anywhere for the Dutch units to withdraw to outside of the Pacific. Most of the Dutch forces were either destroyed in the defence of Java or fled to Australia.

But I want AE N O W ! ! !

On the other hand, I might spend the waiting time with Hearts of Iron 3 or working...

I've never played any of the HoI games, but it has to be a better option than working, right?

Looks like they lied

The problem I'm having is the total lack of a replacement pool for losses at the minute, let alone the problem of outdated aircraft. It's all well and good taking away the restriction on UK and Dutch units upgrading, but when there's not going to be enough of a pool to use until May 1942 anyway the point becomes moot

Compared with witp, anything is arcade! But there are really good mods für HoI 1&2, especially the "Historical Stony Road" mods. They have hundreds of additional events - something that I miss derely in witp - with fixed difficulty. Really funny to play vs. the A.I. as its scripted really good. Also, you can play from 1936 to 1943 or 44 in just a few hours. That can be attractive, too...

HoI 3 looks REALLY impressive! Much bigger map, much has changed...

Any YEAH! I got an email! My Key will come... and considering my slow download speed, it'll be around tomorrow this time when I'll finally be able to play AE!

I guess AE is the first game I've dreamed of before I ever played it! Tonight, I dreamed that Windows Mail made the incomeing sound of an email. When I looked at the display, there was my serial and I knew: "Tomorrow, I'll be playing AE!" - so I kept on sleeping happily!
Wakeing up today's morning, there were tears in my eyes when the inbox was still empty... ()
