All the colors on my computer is messed up!

dell inspiron 9300, windows xp (home), 2.2 gig Intel,nvidia geforce go 6800, 2gig ram. Got to send some Witp turns

Sounds like a graphics card is overheating or about to fail.

Is that a laptop? it may be overheating, make sure you don't use it on a carpet or on a table with fabric under it.
Use it on a countertop-like surface or hardwood table, etc. make sure the laptop has PLENTY of ventilation.

Does it still operate, iow can you still see the screen, just in different colors or is the whole screen garbled and mixed up?
Check with Dell if your service contract has expired, if it is still in effect, perhaps they can fix your issue under warranty.
