Andy is most definitely at the drawing board; he's our AI wizard, and knows more about the horrid thing than anybody could ever want to...

Hi Guys
Made a mess of my old account, so langley became LangleyCv1 seemed like the only way around it.
As to this post I must say i look forward to the release of AE as much as the next man, and every think i've seen in these posts says its going to be well worth waiting for! Keep it coming and well done, so far good.

Why CT specific icon while recon rgt gets a tank icon instead of an armored recon icon(supposing it exists) which would be more correct?

So Motorised Infantry will have to get the armour icon too? I am assuming the icon choice will define mobility factors like in WITP.

Edit: Okay have a good work.

Would this imply some kind of english naming system or can we can edit and use a japanese naming? Example Kantōgun was the Kwantung Army.

FYI - this would be the icon for the Convoy unit Andy has described once it has been updated in the DB.

Thank you Andy! Great AAR. It's very painful this long wait...
Only a question: ¿it's normal that Singapore had "0" in fortify level?

Yes and no

We changed the terrain type of Singapore to Light Urban so it now starts as level 0 forts (Singapore Fortress gets a higher individual rating)

I should have been able to build to level 2 - 3 forts easily but I left a lot of the units in rest mode and in rest mode they don't build stuff - I also forgot to turn off build AF and build port so.....

Andy,
again, damn good news for the AI thing.
As you start all over playing the Japanese side, could we have a screen shot of an AirHQ and it's organisation, so I can bother The Elf with stupid questions about that.

Again, can not wait the scroll the map and order the troops by myself.

cheers
Rene'

OK my primary goals

1. Get Imp Guards packing
2. Secure Kota Baru
3. Drive on Taiping ASAP I need to get on the road net as roads in North Malaya stink
4. Keep up the skeer...

If I give the allies time to settle absorb replacements and dig in I will lose I need to keep em running from day 1

OK 1st turn done Imp Guards will take three days to pack up for the rail move to Malaya

56th Regt will attack Kota Baru and then drive on Temuloh but its a long slow road over the mountains as you need both ends to use the railway

5th Recce Regt is ordered to advance immediately on Alor Star - its only 500 men and 5 tanks as the rest of its equipment is still unloading but I want my only armoured unit in the early waves on the move gaining some ground
