I've been waiting on this one so long that I've finally decided that the only attitude worth having is to assume it will never be released.  That way I can be very happy if it ever sees daylight.

It's sort of like something I saw in an old war movie where the commander told his troops, "Assume you are dead already.  You'll do your job much better and you might actually survive."

I recently joined the beta testing team...can't say much due to the NDA, but it seems to be shaping up pretty nicely, looks visually very nice and has monopolized my gaming time very nicely!

Hi Gang

you know, I have taken a bit of Flak over what I have said, or not said about when or when if, this game will be ready, I keep saying, that I can't say anything thing yet about a date, basicly, because I feel it is not ready yet, we have worked long and HARD on this game, and we have fixed a lot of old bugs, made a lot of (I hope) good changes, and added many features to the game, and we are still trying to get everything working

some people don't like my Alt or the way I talk, sorry about that, but that is how I am and how I am going to be (I have stood toe to toe with real life Generals and argued my point, and as long as you know what you are doing and are correct, they will stand there and argue back, and all is forgiven once it is over with)(Capt always said, one day  your going to be wrong)

but, I think some of the complainers, should roam around the forums and see what has happen to some of the other games, how many of them were released too early, or maybe with known, or unknown flaws or mistakes, and all of the heat they have taken, and Matrix has taken for doing so

a number of these things are out of my hands, and I got to do what I am told, but for the areas that I am in control, I will control it

as it stands right now, we got 2 explots were are trying to correct, and then a rare bug, that if it hits, is a game breaker, but hassle is, it don't hit often (one of the testers was able to trap it, so we think we can work out why it happens)

getting those explots and the bug fixed, may correct what I think is wrong with the AI, if not, we need to make some changes, after that, most of it is minor stuff

we are reworking the balance of some of the sub campaigns right now

and making sure PBEM works the way it should

so it may not look like it, but there is still alot of stuff going on, but we are getting there
