War in the East. They were unwise enough to let me in.

Are you still working on the Downfall scenario ?

Turned in the alpha version for testing last weekend.

Great !

And if they are looking for any Alpha, Beta , Gamma or even Delta testers for either project let me know. I would be happy to help.

Does anyone know offhand how many hexes a convoy would take to move between Singapore & Palembang?

8, including the ports themselves.

Thanks stuman!

Brazil or argentina will make it.
For the last 50 years it was always rotatory one european and one south american nation. Whenever the championship was in Europa, a european team won, whenever not, Argentina or Brazil.
Consequently it'll be Brazil (or Argentina) this time

But in fact, never forget what Michel Platini said...

Brazil and Spain are both better sides than Argentina, I feel that we are more likely to get something against the Argies than we are against Brazil or Spain. I've got no idea how we managed to achieve 7th place in the world rankings though...

Quite welcome. Among many other details I have been wondering whether bumping up the HI in Singapore would be helpful. And it sure would be nice if there was an intact railway from N. Vietnam into China.

England are, IMO, of a similar level to Germany. Brazil and Spain are the two top teams, both of those sides are ahead of the opposition. If England and Germany both play to their best they would cancel each other out and we'd lose on penalties Or someone would get sent off

That's worth consideration. Remember, you'll have half damaged when you take the place. So, it'll cost 35k supply just to bring it back to normal. Doubling it will bring the cost to 105k supply. It'll take 415 days to break even with supply. I guess it all depends on what your supply situation looks like.

I forgot about the damage. I was really just thinking of the nice short trip between the two, and how it might be nice to have a modest sized HI there. But that is a lot of supply to expend. One more decision.

My general observation of European teams is that the ones that really challenge for the title have at least one explosive striker. A lot of European teams have solid D but lack that explosive guy up front. Ex: Germany fell a notch when Klinsman retired. As far as I know they have not found a guy that explosive and dangerous yet.

England has one of those guys. Can't remember his name right now (not Rooney), but that bodes well for them if their new coach can get their defense and midfield organized.

We have formidable goalgetters! Unfortunately, they often fail when it counts...
Kloose, Podolski, Cacao are really good and Gomez...
But Gomez often stops to shoot goals for some years in the national team while scores again and again in the league...

We can win the championship, but I doubt it. Brazil will stop us in the finals.

Defoe is probably the one you're thinking of. We've also got some speedy wingers; Young, Walcott and Lennon.

Now its time for our women to kick some english asses
Our football women are more than the Brazilians of football... - if they would only look better Its always so disturbing. Whatever female football team you look at, there are many beautiful women - but when I look at our team...

Our girls won the European championship for the 5th time in a row and for the 7th time of 10 in total

I sometime think the other teams choose the beautiful women, we choose the good ones...

Well, I have a confession then: I am a life-long Cowboys fan. Starting all the way back to the Ice Bowl. ' Tho I do admit that my favorite era was the Staubach Seventies. I will lay claim to the 3 titles in the 90's, but Rodger the Dodger and Tom Landry will always be my main men.

A couple of years ago there was one channel here in Sweden that used to show NFL games in the middle of the night. I watched almost every one of them, just for the wonderful intricate tactics employed by the teams depending on their team build and who they met.

The guy that picked (and commentated on) the games had a love for New England Patriots first and the Green Bay Packers 2nd. Hence, roughly 75% of the games shown included one of those teams. That made me a fan of those teams as well, in the same order.

Sadly, that channel no longer shows any more games . If we're lucky, we might get to see the Superbowl.
