Quick, pre-hockey practice, pre-U2 concert tailgating, pre-jamming out with a stadium full of fans - Tithe.

It is a beautiful day.

Good heavens, that was the most nightmarish traffic situation I've ever seen. I wish we had thought to come way early and tailgate too. We spent 3 hours getting to the stadium, missed a 1/3 of U2's set, and took a couple hours to get out of there.

But they were good. Tremendous rig they have this round. Plus, they are a really tight band right now. Definitely on their game.

Sorry to hear you got stuck in the mess outside. We arrived around 5:30 and just had snacks, drinks, and music in the RBC parking lot. They closed the lots there soon after we arrived because they were full. IMO, you didn't miss anything with the opening act. I do feel bad you missed some of U2. We agreed that they did a fantastic job, and sounded really good. Pulled out a couple of older songs that I was a bit surprised by, but enjoyed greatly. Alex was out of his mind, the entire time. Our only headache leaving was a long backup to get through a police "sobriety checkpoint."

The only thing that can be said about "The Claw" is

I loved Ultraviolet. Too cool. I never saw them during their Achtung Baby tour, so I don't know if that is normally how they've done it, but it is one of my favorites on that album. Of course, as we were trying to park we rolled down the windows to hear Mysterious Ways.

Ultraviolet is one of my favorites on Achtung as well, (along with Until the End of the World), and I almost lost it when they started playing.  Sara's favorite U2 song is Mysterious Ways.  I'm really happy they played it!

A string walks into a bar. The bartender looks at him and says, "We don't serve your type here. Get out!" Dejected, the string leaves. He goes to a nearby alley and rubs his ends along a rough brick wall, and then ties himself up before going back into the bar. The bartender looks at him and says, "Wait a minute - aren't you that string that I just kicked out a few minutes ago?"

The string replied, "No, I'm a frayed knot."
