come up with some "war" stories

Some might eve be true

Pffft, all (three of) my true stories from the warzone are boring. True war stories are always less interesting than the time I parachuted behind enemy lines during the Fourth Australio-Tibet war and single handed wiped out the Bulgarian general staff before making good my escape in a miniature zepellin piloted by 30 chinamen and a small armadillo named Ralph. Obviously "Ralph" wasn't his real name as he was a part of the SAS.

I think I've seen that movie.....

Farting is a bad thing on a submarine. Boring is good.

Yup, sounds about right.

Not as bad as some poor sap whose gf gave him a set of her undies drenched in her perfume as Christas Pressie. She's sealed them as a "surprise". The whole boat smelled like a tart's boudoir.

I dont imagine this was a good thing.....

You know, you joined almost 12 months before me (I hadn't noticed until now), and have just crossed 7000. Don't know if that means anything.

I have news for you Terminus. I've lived there. They don't speak "proper English" either. Unless you are in Oxford,Cambridge or Westminster.
The current generation of Brits make the average Yank sound "well spoken".

Succinct. Look Nik, you (and Onime and Joe, along with several others, I guess) like the book. I don't. Let's leave it there.

I'm fine with that.

Jeez. I didnt know you two were gonna start a slap fight over this. I though you always agreed with one another.

A slap fight?

You heard me.

It's virgin again. One of the two hard drives died , so they had to replace both. It will be the better part of a month before I get everything loaded again. And this weekend I'm getting Windows 7.

Just about to wrap things up from the hockey rink, then it's out to dinner and early to bed.  I've had a headache for 3 days that I need to sleep off.  I seriously think it might be rum withdrawal since I returned home from vacation.

You lose that fight! It may cost him his life , but those damned things will cost several thousand dollars at the body shop! Two things in life that I always avoid on the highway. 1) Cars with "Diplomat" licence plates, and 2) armored plated possums!
