Good morning Guys... what does 'Tithe' mean please?

It's our reference to tithing, or donating 10% of one's income to the church of choice. We generally make at least 10% of our posts in THE THREAD!!!

Damn, i did learn that donating to the church was a "privilege" that our Revolution did abolish....was i wrong ?

Before your Revolution, tithing ten percent of your wealth to the church was a requirement. Now it is entirely voluntary.

Of course, in the USA nowadays there are some churches that will not admit you as a member until they have run a credit check on you...

Yup, hard to use a term like churches for them. Just another business selling a product.

Reflection ... how did I miss out playing PBEM before?

I enjoy playing the AI as well, but the suspense and excitement of having a real opponent is really something extra and where this game really shine!

I'm having a real blast - we're doing two-three turns a day so it's a good pace. I've never been happier seeing my DEI/PI fleet being hunted down and shot into pieces

Tithe... I've got the Allied early games blues... I am in the early game as the Allies in 3x PBEM's... So I'm getting beaten up 3x times over... Why do we do it... I've got the Allied early game blues.

I know how you feel. I'm a UV, WITP and AE plankholder (purchased my copies of each on the first day of release), but I never started a PBEM until about 3 years ago. I've lucked into finding a very compatible opponent and now the AI no longer thrills me... I"m very lackadaisical about playing my AI games, but am addicted to the PBEM.

This being said, we only average about a turn a day and are expecting it to be a little slower in AE. We're in it for the long haul...

My 2x2 PBEM Partner 'aprezto' (Wobbly) has just told me that He and PzB are starting A Grand Campaign. Boy that brings back memories (First AAR I ever read), and a rematch after all these years.
