Good luck with the interview, Yuri!

Thank you Mike.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, and British efficiency, guys.

Of course, she could be Australian, in which case I'm screwed.

Fingers crossed, Yuri.

How long did it take you to notice you were drooling?

I wasn't. I'm not 16 any longer.

Thank you, Sir. I think it helped.

I had a very productive and pleasant meeting with a lady who hails from South Africa. I think I made a good impression. If she were hiring, I think I would be in a very good spot right now, but I am very satisfied. She appears to be very good at what she does and I am hopeful that her reputation carries a lot of weight with her clients and that she will use that weight to my benefit.

Poor old Cassius; tried to be the first Roman Emperor, but didn't have Julius Caesar's ruthlessness.

Alas, it didn't work for Caesar! Or maybe he didn't balance the ruthlessness with the right amount of cunning ala Caesar Augustus, the first to succeed at becoming Roman Emperor?

Those sound interesting.....Arab-Israeli conflicts are subjects I know very little about, other than in that Six Day War, the Israelis completely changed their strategic situation.

good timing. Just about ready for my next book after finishing Machester (Mac) and Frank (Downfall). Currently 1/3 through Asher's Hurtgen Forrest book. That Med book looks interesting.

I believe I read this book a few years back. Damn depressing stuff. What a cock-up.
