that and my gay brother thinks she is a whore.

Why is it that gay men seem to know the female of the species better? Is it because they don't fall for the bumps and curves?

Um...yup.

I disagree. Men have the female of the species figured out fairly well. But we are willing to overlook some very blatant information in light of even a very remote chance of getting laid.

On our cycling team so many years ago we used to say "All women have snakes in their heads. It just depends upon whether you are running into the garter snakes or pit vipers..."

Have you noticed that when women go on diets, the snakes in their heads get bigger and more venomous?

OK, I'll bite. Whats a "low power setting"?

Not so inside joke. It refers to the old Zero vs Wildcat flame threads in which our long time Troll would always say Wildcats always shot down more Zeros than vice verca in any battle. Depending on the whether or not anyone cared to reply it would morph into "Navy" Wildcats (as opposed to USMC Wildcats) always shot down more than they lost in battle, and then if someone would further bother to point out the untruth of the statement for the umpteenth time, we'd get "Ok more Wildcats were shot down in that instance but it was because They entered the battle at low power"

I kid u not.

Anyone here ever play the RPG "Call of Cthulu"?

Raises hand. Some twenty years ago. Lost intererest quite fast. The main point about RPG:s is getting to evolve and identify yourself with your character. CoC never let you do that. The characters kept dying in the most gruesome ways at a high rate.

Went back to the H.P. Lovecraft books instead. I agree with T, after you have started on those, King will never look the same.

That's funny. That was basically my take of the RPG as well. Your characters would spend all their gained benefits attempting to avoid insanity. It never worked, they all went insane and / or died.

That's kinda the point of Lovecraft's stories. No matter what you do, the uncaring universe will devour you alive, and move on without noticing anything you accomplished in life.

Higher concentration of bile, not diluted by calorie intake.

Still doesnt explain what "powered down" actually means. Is that like a restrictor plate, speed limit, a stern warning from a burly crew chief not to scratch the paint, or else...? And didnt he once claim that NO Wildcats were lost to enemy action?

Incidentally, is he saying that Japanese adopted the banzai charge because they couldnt muster the needed firepower to suppress an Allied line?

A question for you grogs. Does anyone know where an inquiring mind might find data on ammo expenditure by RN battlewagons at Calabria?

Warspite fired 17 salvoes. Malaya fired a ranging salvo. Royal Sovereign was out of range.

Not at full speed in other words, and yes....he's implying that all the Japanese knew how to do was Banzai charge whenever the enemy was not either confused or suprised.

Throttled back to a more economical engine setting.

I enjoy Lovecrafts stories, I loved the RPG my friends never got it so we only tried it once they hated it. I wish I could play it with a decent group but I would never be able to assemble one nowadays. I guess I would go insane if I saw a tentacled horror

One of my PBEMs is finally restarting. I need to patch up to patch 3 I think, but can't find the download. Can someone point me in the right direction, please?
