42su Japan turn.
Without resistant in Russia, Japan advanced into Siberia.
Seeing US is at the edge of DOW, Japan decide to attack first, but California was defended with 2 AA and 1 Fighter, the result is nearly catastrophic to Japan.
In the mean time, one troop landed in Alaska.
Southern Asia is attacked but Sumatra is already heavily defended.
And China will surely attack us soon

Su 42

Russia is tumbling retreats everywhere, manage to kill an airborne unit, it dared too much it was isolated and destroyed.
China takes Indochina
The US tries to isolate japanese CV retreating to their homeland, a landing was attempted in Alaslka by a militia suported by two BB but failed, pitty because japanese stocked supplies would have been destroyed and chances for CVs to escape greatly reduced.

42 fall, Axis turn.
The big tank attack trying to seize Stalingrad is proved to be too bold. Hope this Stalingrad won't be that one.
Germany troops are all in Rostov and probable next turn they will not stop attacking.
Some Russia rails were damaged this turn. Urals has some fighters protection so launched an attack tried to reduce them.

Japan successfully defended Foochow.
More islands taken in Southern Asia.
Our carriers finally went home and have their weapons repaired.

Even when China wasn't able to take Foochow, I think losses were acceptable on the Chinese side, the three infantry were back after the production phase, and the cassualties inflicted on the japs were higher.

Wonder how many ships were lost when the blockade was broken... Still haven't got the chance to look at the turn.

In Russia the situation is kind of critical, we need to stop the germans Stalin has said, or the trains ready to take germans and japs pow to Siberia (wait not Siberia, maybe the Urals) will instead be filled with incompetent soviet generals.

43 Fall,
WA attacked Iraq and caused equivalent casualties for both sides.
As the supply line in Med is cut off, no more need to hold Iraq so Axis troops retreat to N Persia.
S Ural is invaded, Moscow is attacked with good result.
Russia production is reduced to 1.
Germany took Norway to reduce supplies that WA sending to Russia.

Face to strong threaten from WA carriers and subs, Japan launched ASW operation to destroy 2 US subs, but still 5 to deal.
6 WA carriers stay in coral sea with 5 CAGs and protected by 2 fighters and 6 fleets.
The first attack is made by one suicide carrier and cause to destroy 1 WA carrier and counter attack cause damaged 1 WA fighter and 2 CAGs.
The last attack made by 3 Japanese carriers and 4 fighters + 1HB, but result only 1 WA carrier destroyed.
Situation is still difficult for Japan as WA will recover very quickly.

FA 43 Allies

With Moscow near to fall in the next or at the most two turns, and the allies in no position to help them in an inmediate way, the WA sue for peace and have initiated negotiations for an armistice (some will call it surrender ).

Seriously with the USSR totally crippledand after the blow to the us cags I don't see how I can possibly turn the tide, that in conjuction with my little time has made decide to offer unconditional surrender to Ning which he accepted.

Congratulations Ning, you played a superb russian campaign!!!

Here are some screen shots of this turn without FOW

Thanks to rjh1971 for a very interesting game.

Some of my opinion for how Russia could have survived :
At the beginning not to try to hold Kharkov.
Fighters stay in Ural to save the factories and resources.
Not let Japan to advance so easily at the beginning.
WA quick land at Spain/Portugal instead of Saudi Arab.

Kharkov was defenitely a bad strategy, I should moved back to Rostov and save many units plus the germans would have had to spend more supplies moving their armies. Then maybe I should have had enough force to try to stop the japs or delay their advance until the US entered the war.

About Spain it's usually the right move, but I don't think I would have had air superiority if the LW moved to France, but that would have help Russsia.

Anyway Ning played very well and I didn't kudos to him.
