Italian pre-dreadnoughts are so cool! I am looking forward to those. Yes, I will be happy to include them in the next download. It will be quite a mixed bag, what with the High Seas Fleet, USS Helena, and now Italians. Graham, you are now a WPO legend!

Yo I'm going to tweak the Italian ships colour by putting a darker edge to the hull outline because I feel in the combat screen, they are not standing out enough ?

New possible feature I'm also thinking about is shown below, where by the ship now looks as though it is traveling at 20 knots etc, and is creating a large bow wave effect, plus at the stern there is the tell tale sign off a large wake being left after the ship,I have tried this out in the combat screen view, and it looks like the ships are moving fast through the water.

Hi Graham, the Garibaldi is fantastic! As for the special effects, in my opinion, keep the flags and lose the wakes.

Hi folks, Italian Armoured cruiser Giuseppe Garibaldi class with Navy ensign flying from her mast, she looks tremendous in the combat screen in game,I have experimented and a slight reduction to the size of the flag, looks great attached to all the ships mast.Instead of floating in the corner off the art work.

Italian San Giorgio class Armoured cruiser

Hey guys do you prefer the ship art to be to scale or do you want them larger so that you can see more detail?

This art work is slightly larger than she should be,but personally I prefer to make out more detail.

I agree with Aces, I prefer the details over scale. Besides, if they were all to scale then the destroyers would be about the size of a gnat!

Ok I will make them large enough to see individual detail on the ships,I'm sure the Italian Armoured cruisers are 130 pixels in lenght,so I will use a sliding scale based on the Armoured cruiser size,Battlecruisers,Pre-Dreadnoughts& Dreadnoughts will be larger, while Protected cruisers,Light cruisers & Destroyers will be smaller,by approx 10 pixel per ship type + or -.
