Air losses..JJ had Tojos waiting for a raid on his ground troops in Burma. The Zeroes and P-38's traded with the edge to the P-38's in air to air losses

Also...don't tell Admiral Lord Sprior but I think that AK that got sunk last turn had a detachment of Hurris aboard. Some idiot sent them to Karachi without an escort from Aden (last time I did a turn for him).

Did I use that gag about that eunuchoid children's TV character before (pretend I don't know what they are called)?

The A2A losses were from a Tojo poach over Burma...the "ground" losses were...well, you know.

***************Pranning for Jan 21************

Another B-24 attack on Koepang..possibly with some B-17F's from Katherine joining in. Fighter sweep from the remaing 17 operational P-38's. JJ has moved most of the bombers out of Kopeang.

Kendari is still dangerous so we wont try to land at Lautem today. We need a good recon of Kendari and then maybe attention form the B-24's. Lautem will get a ground attack today jsust to make sure it is unoccupied. Endemere, Waingapoe and Endeh in the Lesser Sundas are all level 4+ airfields and have been purposely built up...they are dangerous too. Latem and Dili will be the Left shoulder of the penetration with the main thrust up toward the PI

We own Namlea with its level 2 airfield now but the inconsiderate LYB's didn't leave any suppries this time. Try to fly in some from Saumlaki.

So the guy from HP comes out, puts in the new motherboard, runs some diagnostics and then comes out of the man cave....

HP guy: Apparantly whatever disabled the mother board also caused a fault in the hard drive.

Me: Damn! Two things at once. How often does that happen?

HP guy: Not very often.

Me: Wow, good thing it's still under warranty.

HP guy: Yeah, good thing. <he winks>

One time in school I got this message on my car window that read..

"People think I am leaving a message because I hit your car but really just want to meet you...call...867 5309". All the "i"'s had little hearts above them.

So, naturally, I called. It was a PhD student who wanted to show me his bunsen burner. D'oh!

IU have been watching Breaking Bad from the first season on Netflix. Great show. One of the lead characters is a high school chemistry teacher who discovers he has lung cancer and decides to cook meth to provide for his family.

I wonder if the 70 combat troops of 3rd Marine Para Bn still at Saumalki would be enough to take Lautem by air if it is indeed unocupied.?

70 parachute infantry and engineers and 130 support troops still with the HQ element (the "remnant" dropped on Namlea yesterday.

"Yeah, well, Tuco, you're overlooking one thing.  This... isn't meth".  Boooooom!

Yes, great TV.  Cranston does a slambang job as Heisenburg and won (at least) two Emmys for his worrk.  Just finishing Season 2 of the series.  Yes, I'm nerd enough to know who he was and how he met his end.

Upon Mr. Desicat's double entendre reference, I have decided to call the attack on the Moluccas and Mindanao, Operation Fist of Fury.

Those two episodes with Tucco's Tio were insanely funny.

That interrogation scene at the DEA nearly caused a gastrointestinal accident on MY part.

Don't recall the Ki-61-Ia airframes in your game in the past. First time you've seen them?

Yes...this was the first Tony Awards.

Given that 61 is a pretty high number, way higher than 43 for example, I am going to guess this is a bad thing.

We have an ace up our sleves, the P-43, Which is a higher number than 38 and which we have been carefully hoarding for just such an emergency.

Pretend I never played Scenario 2 before, never read the manual and never read the aircraft data. Is the Tony a B-17/B-24 killer?

The Ki-61-Ia model is a fair to below average dogfighter, with underwhelming armament. The "c" and "d" models are much more interesting in terms of their armament (4x20mm on the "d", IIRC) at 'bomber control'.

The real achilles heel on the Tony line is its high service rating of 3 (Tojo II line is at service rating of 1). If you damage them on the field, they'll likely stay damaged and be destroyed in number. The rule of thumb for the Japanese player is to field them on rail line hexes, so that they can be evacuated behind lines for recuperation in a rotation.

Interesting...so it would seem we try again with the B-24's. Maybe a night bombardment with one of the BB's they missed at PH will spice things up. Turns out we have one waiting about 8 hexes out....splendid!

Well...not quite...Colorado would have to move Westward in the Timor Sea...she should be 2 hexes N of Bathurst.

That would require putting the carriers and the bombardment group within escort range of the bases in the Lesser Sundas. Will need a bit more recon to do that safely.

That doesn't sound like something Admiral Halsey or Lord Admiral Sprior would say. They would say something to the effect of 'we laugh at them' or something equally inspiring. C'mon Cap'n-get in there and kill something. Recon later.
