The "Singles in Your Area" ad at the top of my email turned to guys again.

You know, I was wondering about spybots too, but I didn't say anything because it sounded a bit paranoid.

Maybe we need more breastaurant stories.

Speaking of that, Stalker Girl jr. has taken to coming upstairs in the morning to get her Engrish muffin (which I paid for but that is another story) wearing this crazy grey wife beater type "t-shirt" which is just a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. I have to literally gaze at the floor. I rook rike I have high functioning autism.

In such a situation one has to take a step back and ask oneself WWWAD (what would Woody Allen do)?*

* And then do the opposite

Rough day so far. First, my 100 lb Lab woke me up at 5:30 simpering and whining because it was windy and she was afraid.

Then, the little girls, who are just coming back from Idaho today, had left a crevah rittah prank for me. They put black make-up on the inside of my sunglasses. I didn't notice till I was getting out of the car and took my sunglasses off. Total raccoon face. It's an old gag but it worked well and made me late for my fist appointment after trying to get all the stuff off.

Outwitted by a 9 year old! There WILL be retribution!

Good show! Of course, you can't let on to that until the Official Secrets Act expires or something.

Oh, great. Now the "Meet Singles in Your Area" ad is going to be all hairstylists and choreographers.

Just think of the bandwidth required to download all of the ads for hairstylists and choreographers in your area. You'll have to limit your search criteria to within 2 miles
to prevent your perusal time from interfering with the war.

107 more SBD/TBF bombing sorties from Miyako and they can't hit the other 3 DD's.

That turn required an uncharacteristically long turn around for Admiral Rord Fabertong.

Either Viking raiders were spotted coming ashore again, he's out looking for Piltdown Man bones ...or he prepared the mother of all battles for the Naha landing.

******Polar Vortex grows in strength, raises temperatures dangerously to 81 F in Southern Calif. just before BCS game, weather experts offer advice*******

HOW TO AVOID HYPOTHERMIA:

1) Set the Jacuzzi to 85 or higher.

2) Wear 3/4 length NBA/Gangbanger style shorts instead of above the knee shorts.

3) Switch from wife-beater cholo T-shirt to standard T-shirt. You can still wear pants below your butt cheeks to look cool.

4) Women should put on some kind of flimsy top if they are smuggling peanuts.

5) Surfer dudes and surfer wannabes should wear flip flops instead of going barefoot.

6) Homeless please switch to 24 gauge cardboard.

There was quite a fuss about the packers/niners playing in -2 wind chill - here is the recess policy for a typical Idaho elementary school, Edgemont Gardens Elementary, referencing the district policy.

"INCLEMENT WEATHER:
According to District policy, students will remain indoors when the temperature is zero degrees wind chill. There will be times when the temperature is marginally in that range, and we may use an abbreviated schedule at lunch because the length of time students are outdoors is also a factor. This policy also pertains to before school times. If a student has been seriously ill and needs to remain indoors during recess, please send a note to school. A student will need a doctor’s note to be excused from recess for more than three days."

And we're 'muricans here so none of that silly Celsius stuff. When the zombie apocalypse (or next Chosin adventure) comes I am betting against the transgender bathroom kids... (and to head off the response - in the case of transgender zombies I'd have to bet with the Captain's home team)

Not to mislead - if we could secure gainful employment in South Africa or Australia we'd be on a plane in a flash. I just thought it interesting contrasting the news reports with my 2 1/2 year old daughter who is mandated to play outside in the same temperatures.

Those are actually DD's. The shallow end isn't deep enough for the cruisers. Just last week a Fletcher-class rammed a statue of Zeus imported from Crete. Not covered by the homeowner's policy either.

You can just see the mailbox at the end of the twin cypress row on the left.

Hired a contractor to work on my balconies (which are leaking). We had to push the old 280Z out of the garage with 2 flat tires. Wait till the HOA sees that. I hosed the thing down and after the dust and rat **** was off the old thing looked pretty awesome.

Tell the HOA its gonna be a project for History Channel's "Countin Cars"... Your gonna restore it and it will be worth a million bucks after they're done, UNLESS somebody messes up your deal!

Your DD's collision is covered under the $5M umbrella policy coverage - don't let them tell you you don't have it either!

I get home from work....the contractor made great progress on the balcony and most of the joists are OK!

AND, the damage to the statue of Zeus IS covered under the umbrella policy. It seems I bought the same one Bill Clinton did!
If it covers sexual harassment, it should cover knocking the arm off Zeus.

The BAD NEWS...my step son is visiting and he and the babysitter drank 90% of my Sierra Nevadas....and there are 96 bombers now at Nagasaki <makes Dominican baseball player good luck sign>

***************June 23, 1943, D-Day(c)*************

Okinawa: IJN DD's run afoul of our sub gauntlet. I think they were inbound but not sure about that.

ASW attack near Nago at 95,64

Japanese Ships
DD Shirakumo, Torpedo hits 2, on fire, heavy damage
DD Yudachi

Allied Ships
SS Hake, hits 1

We find nobody waiting at sea. I was pretty sure Kirishima or a cruiser would show up. Maybe tomorrow. Not even suicide sub drivers.

No mines either. The pressure over time didn't not allow it. The IJA is ready to fight, however. We suffer maybe 250 squads disabled but virtually damage to the landing vessels.

Naha gets plasterized by air. Here is an example.

Morning Air attack on Naha , at 95,66

Weather in hex: Clear sky

Raid detected at 77 NM, estimated altitude 16,000 feet.
Estimated time to target is 23 minutes

Japanese aircraft
Ki-44-IIa Tojo x 2

Allied aircraft
Mitchell II x 8
B-17E Fortress x 5
B-24D1 Liberator x 19
B-25G Mitchell x 12
P-40K Warhawk x 14
F4U-1 Corsair x 9

Japanese aircraft losses
Ki-44-IIa Tojo: 1 destroyed
Ki-44-IIa Tojo: 1 destroyed on ground
D3A1 Val: 1 destroyed on ground
Ki-30 Ann: 1 destroyed on ground

Allied aircraft losses
Mitchell II: 3 damaged
B-17E Fortress: 1 damaged
B-24D1 Liberator: 5 damaged
B-25G Mitchell: 1 damaged

Airbase hits 3
Airbase supply hits 1
Runway hits 23

The limit of Japan-mens air attacks over the landing beaches. Not very intimidating.

Morning Air attack on TF, near Naha at 95,66

Weather in hex: Clear sky

Raid detected at 79 NM, estimated altitude 8,000 feet.
Estimated time to target is 23 minutes

Japanese aircraft
Ki-48-IIa Lily x 2

Allied aircraft
P-38G Lightning x 15
P-40K Warhawk x 22
F4U-1 Corsair x 9
F6F-3 Hellcat x 8

Japanese aircraft losses
Ki-48-IIa Lily: 1 destroyed

No Allied losses

Allied Ships
LST-464
