Time for a bump here for the new users ...

and "yes" now that Tracker programming, Semester, marking, irrational girlfriends and other tales of woe are over ... I'll get to making a few more.

Could be possible for non english people to subtitle these video tutorials? (Or add a text file with the written comment?)

I think it will help much in understandig due also to audio quality.

Thanks anyway for your appreciated work!!

Wow...those are really nice. I learned something about TF movement and that is the ONE section of the manual I actually read....well...part of the section.

I think you may have misstated the settings for night arrival and quick withdrawal. Isn't it Full/Retire?

You have a calming voice...like a dentist....."now I'm going to inject about 10 ml of xylocaine into the roof of your mouth. This shouldn't be too bad...."

Actually that is the one video that needs to be redone for erroneous info regarding movement speed. But I believe that night arival and departure for Fast Taskforces and Bombardment should be at mission speed. Sounds counter-intuitive - but will test again under the beta.

Was going to do somemore after this damn cold goes away.

Thanks but I prefer looking at my co-ed's than people's mouths ;-)

Started slowly making more again (esp. as I've been given sticky privileges)

Tutorial on recalling LCU's and Airgroups.
https://sites.google.com/site/witpextras/Recall.mp4?attredirects=0

Others:
Installing the beta
Capturing and uploading screenshots.

Index as always ...
https://sites.google.com/site/n01487477/

[edit]
Stupidly changed format to MP4 - which is not web friendly enough. So I'll redo them as swf.

Great stuff here. Looking forward to some advanced videos!

I don't know about the 'dentist voice', but, I am worried that he'll arrogantly come along and steal my woman.

@Damian
Many thanks for the new vids, but why is the audio of the ship conversion so bad ?
Did you use a different micro or setup ? Industry management is MUCH better audio quality.

Are more videos planned at the moment ?

Yeah - I need to remaster the audio again. My Mic is not working well and need a new one too.

I've just finished an update for the base screen (not posted yet) and want to redo some of the older ones to the latest patch before I go ahead with anything else... suggestions ?

You want suggestions ? How about a video explaining the new Tracker functions ?
Especially for CS planning.

OK sorry I've been absent for a few days - that's what happens when you go on holiday

Anyway - I've put up a video on ShipProduction, some of it dealing with Tracker
Found here:
http://sites.google.com/site/n01487477/Home
Remember IE users need to download the file and play locally ...

Tomorrow I tackle ship repairs & Base expansion.(and might see if I can redo some of the remaining wmf files too).

So how does one play a *.swf file ..... I'm running IE.

If you're using IE8+ with adobe flash etc it should just play ... but I am starting to re-do and move to youtube. When I first made these youtube was pretty poor quality, now you can upload HD ;-)

Please think also to non english people when you register your tutorials.

Speak slow and if you can try to use must common words.

I can read english quite well but without subtitles it is very difficult to understand all the words.

(My limit however. Your work is fantastic anyway .)

Nice tutorials - unfortunately, you must have a cpu fan or graphics card fan that radiates a very high pitched sound at times and it is very annoying. If there is anyway to filter that out it would be appreciated.

The tutorials are very informative - keep up the great work.

I posted this same message on the TrackerAE page. (wrong place to post it)
The Production Tutorial has a problem. The screen goes black just after the explanation of the WitP Production Chart. I can hear the tutorial; just see only a black screen.
Thank you for your help
