EDIT: Here's a running total of my best ships so far. I've dumped the "Cosmos" series for now and gone for a totally different look. From now on I'll be updating this first post as my fleet expands.

Check out post #2 below for the latest zip file containing all my ships.

Hey all, Im a new guy here & can't wait to see fleets of cool ships & bases you guys come up with

If ya need a tester for anything i'm game.

I loaded this up & renamed it destroyer so i could see it right away n it looks very nice in game & I stick to what I said above =)

Now that Joram mentions it, how does this look ingame? My only concern is the shading cast on the 3D model will show up on the ingame image.

Could I suggest putting the light source directly above the model?

Man I wish I could do 3d art and have it even look 1/8th as good as that. I've seen 5 year olds scribble with crayons and it looks better than anything I can do...

Yours on the other hand looks great and would look even better in my game.

In the meantime, really hope you are going to share with us...less fortunate.

Same here, Wish I had a lick of talent to contribute.

But in game tbh it looks as good if not better then some of the default ships im using, Didnt notice any weird shading or anything that didnt make it look anything other then awesoem in game.

I await more is all I can say,lol

Oh I actually ended up making this my exploring ship, I tried making it a whole new ship but I ran into problems with it not showing unless i copied over an exsisting ship.

I'm working on what I hope will be a complete set. I'll release them when the set is complete but here is WIP for the set. Since the designs were inspired somewhat by the TV show Cosmos, I'll call this first set the "Cosmos Set"

I love Conflictx's Star Trek mod so much, here's a one off design to go along with it.




EDIT: I'll post the game file soon. I just need to test it out in game first.

Here's the game file. I simply named the file "StarTrek4". you'll need to change the name to whatever kind of ship you want to make it. My suggestion is to rename it "Cruiser" or "Capitalship".
