well.. I combined this with some other GFX mods and started having out of memory crashes. uninstalling all GFX mods fixed it. it was on a 100 star game.

so, combining such mods is not a good idea right now... maybe when a 64bit exe is made (allowing you to use more than 2GB of ram per exe)

They should include this in the actual game!!!!


These planets *& pics are beautifull!


Would this be possible Erik????


Alot of the work is already done!

Plus it would go to making DW even more popular and adding even more impulse into the modding community & player base !




EDIT:

Perhaps you could get an ingame ruin or monument named after you!

something like:

"Conflict's-End X"

Will there be any more planet gfx images like the ones in the screen shots above besides the barren rock planets?

I think we must assume, he is no longer interested, has the time or is no longer able to continue modding.

We don't know what happens to people in their day to day lives and I think out of respect we should leave this thread be.

With that said, I really hope ConflictX returns and has a good laugh at all this.

That was funny. I thought, "I'll d/l the barren rock planets to see what they are like". When I opened them up I discovered IT was me who did the mod in the first place, duh!

I was looking at a program called celestia the other day. Here's the link to the site :-

Check out the add-ons section. There's lots of stuff in there that could be 'imaged' and used for DW.

I'm not sure if I have the time to start modding planets, so if anyone else thinks this is a good idea, give it a try.

Yes, all the barren rock planets were from images from Celestia.

Yes, quite alot happened in the meantime. Shouldve said something before I ran off but anyways... I've noticed Igard pickup up on the Planet Gfx modding, no idea how far the mod is but I might put the other planet textures I never released up soon.
