Tried it about 6 times now, creating a construction ship from scratch, using add new ("copy as new" from the default works ok), will give you a ship that moves at like 1 2 1 best speed once you have 3 industrial plants on it. If you recreate the default at game start constructor ship it will be speed 1 2 1 or close and the default(i.e. a clone of the default u start with every game) will be around 8 12 16 depending on tech

Just makes me wonder if any of the "add new" ships are working correctly. I have definetly seen the maintenance costs not calculate right (copy as new , remove components, maintenance cost is higher than original, only happens sometimes) Sigh back to waiting for the next patch. Ship designer needs alot of test love to make sure the numbers for speed, weaponry, and maintenance cost are always coming out 100% correct. Why did you add the ship designer? I haventt been able to play the game cause im a number fiend and its like working with a calculator where u enter 4+4 and it comes out 88.
