The Tellarite ships are just about ready. Forgot to do a resupply ship! I'd also like to get the Orions for this mod, but not sure about their shipset yet. So it could be a few more days until release.

I'd also like to post something special for my 1000th! So if I go quiet for a little while, it's just because I'm saving my posts. I don't want to spend it on the Archer Era! I've got something special planned!

Oh, what a great game Distant Worlds is, to be able to play ST and SW
(and other universes). You guys are really talented!

By the way, Igard, if memory serves, I recall that a previous Archer era
version (1.0?) for the original DW included the cruiser-class ship, named
NX-01 Enterprise...
is that true? You've changed it to the Challenger.
Any way to get back the Enterprise? (for nostalgic reasons, of course)

Status: offline 		Thanks everyone. I wasn't sure if anyone was really interested in the Archer stuff. Glad to see I was wrong. Still got some more to do, the Xindi for example.

@2guncohen. I got the Tellarite station image from drexfiles. Interestingly it's a Cardassian shipyard from a DS9 episode, but was reused for an episode of Enterprise where a Tellarite bounty hunter kidnaps Captain Archer. All I did was change the colours to match the other canonical ship, the capital ship which you can see stands out a bit from the rest with more detail.

@Caesar_Augustus. It's always been the challenger in this mod. I think Drillerman made an NX class before me. Anyway I had a look on drexfiles and found a really nice image of the Enterprise to use. I think this one's better than the Challenger version.

Just replace the cruiser in Distant Worlds/Customization/Star Trek Archer Era/shipImages/family0.

Status: offline 		Thank you, Igard! Yes, that must have been the NX-01 Enterprise image I had seen before.
You bet I like the Archer era, I absolutely loved the "Star Trek: Enterprise" series.
I rather thought the stories were fairly well done, and as usual I liked some more than others,
but some of them were very, very good.

I also particularly liked the characters and how they all interacted to form a really
appealing "Enterprise" crew, and of course, the "right" actors/actresses who played the parts
very well, indeed. It's just too bad it only lasted four seasons, I believe it had more potential.
A bit risky going back to a pre-Kirk era, but I think "Enterprise" was very well done, and faithful
to its Star Trek origins. Thanks again... ahem... we're all wondering what's in store for your 1,000th post...

Status: offline 		I've been playing with this mod for a couple of weeks now and I love it!  The ships look awesome and, as someone who grew up with star trek, the game is more compelling because I'm already familiar with the races, rather than spider thing, bug thing #1, #2, #3, etc.  Very nicely done!

Status: offline 		There is a 9 chapter book at minutiae website dealing with the war, it reads like someone was playing the board game star fleet battles, with all the federation CV and fighters, and then wrote a novel of the game, but got me thinking about what era to base a Scn (scenario)since you have already done a lot of ship sets.
