Take care PjH.

BTW, I liked your comment in the PzB AAR.

Thanks
Yeah, that AAR is becoming really interesting. I feel very strongly that Im right regarding my comment there, but time will tell I suppose...

Yup, +1 on the "time will tell". I refrained from commenting there as I usually do that when I read both AARs.

i'm holding up ok. Talked some more with my buddy in Texas. He and his family are anxious to have me down there but the buddy understands that i'm trying to sort through the debris of my former life and get my head clear.

Yesterday wasn't too bad all in all. Routine.....its all about establishing a routine, whether one has a roof or not. If i'm busy i don't have much chance to think about her and wether or not she might call or text. (she didn't of course)

After work, I went to another of our bldgs that houses a gym and locker/shower room. Worked out for an hour, showered up and changed.....then went to a local Barns n Noble and browsed books for a while before settling down to watch streaming movies for a couple hours at the bookstore cafe. Then ate a fish taco and went back to the lounge and watched a couple DVD's. Only sticky part was when the cleaning staff came into the adacent kitchen/break room area and started night chores. They didn't spot me and i eventually fell asleep nestled in two chairs. Back is not liking this but not much can do at the moment.

Hold on Nik!

BTW, I think you must not expect / wait for her call / text (I know that this is next to impossible but you really really have to)... this is only making you "clinging" to past and past is gone...

Also any person who lived with you for 8 years (in effect your unwedded spouse) and who either effectively throw you out or didn't do anything to keep you in joined household is really not your friend of any sorts... she has the full knowledge of your financial situation, your accommodation situation and yet she didn't do anything to keep you inside (until you fond yourself a new home)... you are now essentially homeless person... her doing that is simply incomprehensible to me...

As other guys here suggested - please try to find some accommodation - sooner or later you will not be able to live like you described - fingers crossed!

I'm not sure the Lord Admiral would take too kindly to your 'picking up' Mrs. P.

Oh, yeah, the stinking bureaucrats are ‘furious’ and say it is completely ’unacceptable’, and they will put ‘measures in place’ and they are ‘seriously concerned’, ‘harrumph, harrumph, harrumph!’ Getting to the point where our ‘leaders’ are looking a lot like ….

Weep, all of us, for our lost strengths and virtue in the face of the Deme and its demagogs. If you want to know what will happen, just ask Cleon.

in a bit of an ironic twist, i came home in a panic last night when i realized that it was valentines' day (don't get me started on which CEO of hallmark started this one)...
me - "honey, i'm so sorry...i didn't get you a gift or card and didn't make reservations for dinner"...
her - "oh, that's ok...you made those spa/massage reservations last thursday for us...i think we'll call that our valentines' celebration"...

talk about having a few brownie points stored up for a rainy day!!!!

I'd love to comment, but it's get political far too quickly...

So I'll settle for saying it's beyond pathetic and someone should be given the boot for that. Even if the pongo is the natural enemy of the airman they deserve better.

I volunteered for redundancy and was lucky to get it. I was in a shortage category and they had to run training classes to make up for those that left.
