30 days... And yes, I do have two years of benefits available, but it's almost unbearable to think of it taking that long to find something new.

2.5 months and counting here. I've had a couple of leads, but nothing has panned out yet. My requirements and definition of a "good" job are slowly dropping as it takes longer and longer.

Keep the faith, T!  The perfect jobs for us both are out there, just waiting for the right time to show themselves.

Well, Brothers, I may be having a vacation from the forums for a while.  Good old 5th Guards Piece of **** just posted that he has no sympathy for the victims of 9/11 and then said he wouldn't be checking that thread anymore.

So I PM'ed him and told him he's a Piece of ****.

If I get awarded a vacation, it will be worth it to make sure he can't hide.

Mike, you'll be in good company. I just did a personal attack on open thread. I'd perform a personal attack on his person if I ever had the good fortune to meet him in person. There is a special place in hell for scum like him. I hope he gets there soon.

I just read that some local crack head shot and killed his 22 month old daughter and then killed himself.

You have no idea how much I would give to switch that poor, innocent 22 month old baby girl for the scum covered piece of **** going by what ever username Japan is hiding behind today.

That thread has been open way too long. Should have been locked at the 2d or 3d post. One of those that you know will go sour. Just a matter of when. Sorry he got under your skin.

Thanks for the sentiments, Greg.

If need be, I'll take one for the team to make sure his filth does not go undisputed.

I have a tall glass of my favorite Rhum Barbancourt and Coke.  It reminds me of my upcoming return trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands.  I feel better now.

Afternoon tithe... Just made my favourite meal for launch, as Mrs Divepac is at the Restaurant. I had sausages and eggs with fresh bread and butter (yum yum). As Mrs Divepac is a Chef I normally don't get such a culinary delight as susses and eggs.

Christian, I'm sure you'll figure it out. You don't have to do it today. Give yourself a few days to regulate, don't panic. Then you can start hitting the pavement. This happens to a lot of good people, so please don't take it personally. It's just business. Stiff upper lip and all that.

Don't have too many. If you get drunk enough, even "JAPAN" might start to make sense.

If that should happen I believe USS America would change his forum name to Военно-морской флот СССР Frunze.

Kristian, are you eligible for unemployment compensation (because you lost work due to downsizement)?

Can you try searching for new job in similar field (now you have good experience)?

Keep the faith and never loose hope (I know it sounds corny but it is usually always like that: whilst the door is shut - the window of opportunity opens) - fingers crossed!

BTW - from what i understand, you are unlikely to be banned for something said in a P.M., as P.M.'s are SUPPOSED to be private... in fact, in the past, a couple of folks have gotten in trouble (?suspended) for posting P.M.'s that they received, trying to get someone else banned... (or was that your intent?)

Back from shopping with family. Apparently daughter unit needed new jeans and shorts. NOW! So we got son unit some new shorts too. Then he saw some Tp Gear boxers he likes but then DU liked them too and we had to get her a pair.

On the bonus side I found a decade of Command and Conquer for £10
