Hi all,

I have several 1:72 diorama models of Supermarine Spitfire at home (it was best looking aircraft according to my father who saw them flying during WWII) and even Mk I had bubble canopy...

Not a bubble, Leo. The definition of a bubble canopy is that it sits on top of the fuselage, allowing unobstructed vision to the rear. The Mk I Spitfire does have a bubble-like canopy, but it's in-line with the fuselage, and blocks the pilot's view to the rear.

Ahh... OK... I see... the "proper" bubble canopy would only be later war Spitfires, Typhoons, P-51D, later P-47D... etc...

Nonetheless even the Spitfire early "bubble" was so much better than German 109...

What do you mean thread brother Mynok?

The Spitfires had bubble canopy (but not made of one piece)...

Not until later marks, Leo.

This type:

I forgot the earlier models had the Hurri-style cockpit.

handed in my notice this morning.

Simon, what's a typical 'notice' term like in the UK? Here, it would vary between 2-4 weeks I would venture.

CDC is posting disaster preparedness tips about the pending Zombie Apocalypse. Got so many hits, it crashed their server...

I was disappointed in it. They spend far too much time making generic recommendations for preparedness, and nothing specific at all about zombies...

They *did* specifically state that 'you're a goner if a zombie bites you'. Love the use of the perjorative / slang for a CDC site...
