T27. The loss/regain ratio goes against me this turn in front of Stalino.

T27 OOB. 800k men and 800 AfVs are out of action. Trey now has double my strength in effectives.

The Sturm division seems tougher than other divisions for some reason. Is it treated like a mountain division?

That's as it should be! See 'my' adopted Divisional badges to the left - the second is the badge for the newly designated Sturm Division, after the artificial armoured hand of the German Imperial knight Götz von Berlichingen. Having been asked for his surrender, he is famously quoted by Goethe for the phrase 'kiss my arse!' This has slightly more ooomph to it, IMHO, than 'Nuts!'

The new title was not designated until early '43, and eventually included significant upgrades to its TOE in terms of Assault guns, PAKs, Pioneers, Marders, 120mm Mortars and Nebelwerfers. Next best thing after Gross D!

T28losses. My first port of call each turn of Blizzard. Still on track with the AI Normal setting. On challenging you are looking at 160k-240k per turn. Note the low AFV losses.

T28 Logistics. The next screen I look at to see what my net loss in front line strength was (60k), and to see if an Army Group commander has managed to keep his job for another week.

T28 Moscow. Had to pull out of some exposed positions - if a stack is threatened from 4 sides I need a very good reason to keep it. if retreating exposes another hex to a four sided attack I vacate that one to. £ hexside attacks I will live with but rarely 4.

T28. And although Trey made a rare second attack in front of Stalino I could re-occupy the hex.

T28. Trey decides he wants to play games in the Crimea, so of course the Rumanians oblige him, so containment forces are on the way.

T30. Not so good in front of Orel trey is nearly through the defensive belt, and I will soon have to switch to my other defensive tactic.
