Very impressive game but one anomaly is persisting with me is I find myself always using the Engineers for recon purposes because the OOB of Pz divisions does not reflect the Recon Bn, the recon units are part of the organic infantry regiment. Hope this can be addressed.

Agree and second this.

I do too often the same thing since the engineers are so mobile - and then to my dismay they are not available to fix bridges in the back. (Of course my lack of discipline and planning ....)

I mentioned this one before a while back when the game first came out and never had anyone comment on it it. I feel there should be a battalion sized recon element added to most divisions or at least maybe make it a corps asset. I like to save my air for other missions besides recon and use my engineers to scout instead because they are highly mobile. There should be a more dedicated unit for this with motorcycles and scout cars. Recon units can be used in a variety of ways: recon, screen movement of the division by blocking off areas/choke points, and advancing ahead to capture bridges before the enemy gets there to blow them, ect. It would be a nice addition...

Agree somewhat. What I do is move forward units 1 hex at a time and if they run into and eneamy they still have enough AP to either go around it or attack.
