Looks like winter maintenance is almost upon us at BBMF. The season ends on Sunday, on Monday we start stripping the 'planes down. I'll be working on P7 (The MkII Spit, and my second favourite part of BBMF) and LF (One of our Hurricanes).

Not far off. AB (the MkV Spit) is going away for major servicing. We're doing annual and minor servicings, both of which are probably more in depth than most stuff I ever did on VC-10/Tristar.

Farm visit today. Lots of driving in 'outstate' / 'upstate' Minnesota. Beautiful foliage out there right now in peak color with the change in season. Oranges, reds, golds. As our unofficial school motto says, "Even mother nature loves maroon and gold."

Color are just beginning to peak around here. Have had a couple of hard frosts the last few days. 25F. the other morning. Highway 200 just north of Itasca State Park is one beautiful drive. We may have to annex northern Minnesota. East North Dakota.

Thought I'd post a couple of questions:

Situation: My PBEM ended. I proceeded to screw up game with.....anyway deleted all and want to get back and running.

re-installed the monster.
re-installed latest Beta from top of thread (ver: 1.7.11.17)
re-installed Halsey led art work. except: rotating plane files (2). It says to just move the folders over to the ART folder. (I'm on Vista) well they are zipped. Can someone explain it to me step by step, like I'm like 2 or something? I can drag and drop'em but then they are still zipped, I doubt thats ok.
Anyways the last thing is I still have red vs green. I really liked the IJ army flags and grey ships I had before. Yeah I know I did it once over a year ago, but I'm clueless now.

I know wrong place for this, but I lurk in here and kinda feel it would be ok...

1. Unzip to a new folder. Doesn't matter where.

2. Copy the contents of the new folder into the ART folder.

3. If that doesn't work, take a gray magic marker & use your screen like a coloring book next time you see a ship profile.

I'm behind the times, but recently saw the enormously viral video "Gangnam Style". It's got something like 230,000,000 hits for the original. Entertaining.

This parody is even better. Well done...

Anyone heard from AW1Steve in the last 24 hours? Haven't heard a peep from him re: a planned absence or our game and he's not responded to several Skype messages either.

In another 5-10 years, men will have borg implants that will give them Internet access directly through their retina and audio nerves. These devices will be patented under the name "Wife-Blocker"

Will it allow AE play too? There goes our national GDP...

Heard back from Steve-o. All's well, just that some guests of his are running him ragged. Of course, he's setting the bar for Onime and my upcoming visit...

yes, but it will be hard to hide the fact that your playing AE because in order to mouse click you have to blink your eyes.

AE has alot of mouseclicks so either the wife will think your batting your eyes suggestively at her or she'll figure out that your attention is elsewhere and hit you with a frying pan.

No plans for Matrix (or the hardwear purveyors of the glasses) to come out with a 'blank stare= mouse click' app? This may help for those inane conversations with the in-laws. Hell, you could probably knock out a Marianas scenario during a banal Thanksgiving dinner!
