Cool! I'd like to compare. My two upstairs bedrooms converted to a library and den (C.I.C.) when I moved in. And I'm losing ground as the library continues to grow. I think the closet in the library may eventually turn into a secondary unit for lesser needed books.

We decorate with books. If there is a few square feet of wallspace, it'll have a book case shoved in. And I usually go wall-to-ceiling. Hallways, are always lined with books. I can only display hard covers now, soft covers and paperbacks stay in storage in the garage. When we finally stop moving we are planning on building an oversize garage , or converting a barn to a library. That will take a few of them!

I may have to tunnel over to the neighbors house, bust out for a door in the foundation and put in a false foundation wall. Voila, new library space.

Well Andre the rankings are out. The radio said North Dakota drops to #4 (I figured as much losing Alaska-Fairbanks 1-2), Minnesota drops to #2. They didn't say who was number one; but you and I could pretty much guess who.
#4 is fine, nothing like a good challenge.

Afternoon chaps Looks like your favourite Limey is going to be on TV. No, not sprior. Or Goodboyladdie. Obviously they've fast tracked me, I'm far too big-time for regional news. Instead I'm hitting the national news on the BBC no less. Presumably this is something to do with the RAF employing the less-able elements of society, such as myself

Or it's to do with the passing of the last Battle of Britain veteran.

Martin, you'll have to let us know the details of the broadcast when you know them.

That's sad. The passing of the last BoB veteran I mean.

Come to think of it's sad that you're going to be a national experten too. Please just tell us that you'll not be the 'page 3' boy, will ya?

BBC News at 6pm. I was in shot for seconds. Literally seconds! I have to say that the archive footage used was a bit poor. I don't remember the Luftwaffe sending formations of Flying Fortresses against the airfields or Fighter Command using P-47s. Or the Luftwaffe using Bf-109G fighters.

Oh well, now I just sit back and wait for the requests to flood in. I expect to be opening a hospital this time next week

Wow! I just had a thought of what a P-47 would'a done against some flying pencil or He-111. Well, a man can dream, can't he? As for those B-17s: Sorry about that, mate. We musta got turned around en route to the reich or somesuch.

Coming to a film near you soon! Das Munich Belle, the story of how 10 young men from America won the Battle of Britain for Germany, becoming the first crew to finish a tour. But then they realised their mistake and fought for the Brits before returning home to the US and joining the USAAF to defeat Japan.

Could be a good project for Tom Cruise? Or Ben Affleck, I admire his previous work in historical dramas.
