You don't want to play with me, then!

My last round of golf was a 72.

On 9 holes...

We'll stick to war gaming and beer drinking then. I am a renaissance man...I can do many things. Except sing. I would listen to Nicki Minaj sign before I would listen to myself sing.

We have something in common, there is a reason I run a sound board instead of singing... I couldn't carry a tune in a Lima class cargo ship!

Marc-

When are you going to take me up on a GC Game?

I would even play Japan so the entire forum could watch me fall flat on my face and run the empire into the ground in six months.

You're actually one of the few people around here looking for an Allied opponent? *blinks in surprise*

Haha, I have noticed the whole time here everyone is always looking for a Japanese opponent. I barely have time to play my current PBEM and AI GC as it is, and the summertime doesn't help with that. Marc and I would be able to handle a slow pace together and not throw the game away and call it quits. I would be more than willing to have a couple of guys show me the ropes on the Japanese economy if they were willing, and give someone a run for their money. Maybe a turn or two a week.. Very slow paced.

Marc and I like to play JTs Campaign Series, and that averaged about a turn a day.. very quick.

Sorry, buddy. You had an opportunity to hire me into your firm as a poultry consultant. I come as a package deal: JFB fanboi / poultry commodity representative. I'll still take that job for an exorbitant salary-and I'll be happy to help you with your GC on company time.

I never said no. Besides, we need to be a bigger player in the Springdale chicken/turkey market. Right up your alley.

The neighbors. They call it playset. But we all know it's a deer stand. Should work well. I had a doe and two fawns in the front yard last Christmas. I think this coming year I'll post in the dining room. Maybe in the afternoon push the backyard.

PS: the picture was taken before we tacked on another 14.5".

Yury,

I can't speak any Russian, but I can guess a lot of what's being said. I imagine somewhere, someone says, "Ivan, you nut-get your head down!"

Still, pretty damn clever of those Russkies.

Just recieved a MMS from a colleague of mine, so I can at least show you guys one picture from the exercise i did last week.

We were just outside a small village far up north and I'm in the process of giving the students (Captains all) a tactical problem on how, with a reinforced mech battalion, to conduct a relief-in-place with some allied troops defending the village and then continuing with an attack beyond.

I was standing on a hard packed snowmobile track outlining the problem, when I made the mistake of taking one step back ... landing me where I am in the picture. Of course, I continued talking all the way as if nothing had happened, despite a certain amusement among the captains

Never noticed that one of my colleagues took a picture, but he did.

Not very much.. maybe three inches.. and it's all melted now.

What's your subsoil moisture level(s) looking like down there, Kansas?

Not sure. I do know all of the corn in Central TX is toast with the freeze and a re plant is on the way. You should see some of the pictures I received today. I feel bad for them.

Never broke 100 here. I'm in for the 5 hour round of 18.

I had you for a mid to low 80s... oh well.

I could probably get there if I played more than 1-2 times each year.

I passed my first Microsoft Certification exam yesterday - Software Development Fundamentals. It's only the beginning level, MTA, but considering I am not a developer, but software QA, I'm pretty damned proud of it.

Son of the Emperor, run? Surely you jest sir. Are we interupting your tea, round eye?

Ummm. Just checked my in-box. I am not seeing anything other than your last e-mail from 2:19pm yesterday. Are the war gods angry with you?
