I am trying to catch up...

Keep tryin' Tennessee.

How's bachelor life treatin' ya? You changed any article of clothing in the last 48 hours?

That starts Monday, and I will still be working, so cloths changing will be required... Sigh... I had thought about taking off these four days and not shaving either, but with me going to Origins next week I needed to keep my finger on things this week.

I have a lot of eggs and frozen sausage patties laid up. I can survive on that and make enough just for me. Also, canned fruit to take care of "roughage". I think I will do OK.

Threadbrother Steve is having some inclement weather down in the flatlands. Hope he doesn't get swept up in a twister. Not before he gets me my turn.

Not yet. Sirens have been getting a pretty good test though. Usually kicking in at 2am.

Thunderstorms have been pretty frequent. NOT good for computers and electronics , I'm afraid.

Actually I splurged and got Hardee's, two sausage biscuits, on the way to church. Lunch will probably be sausage and eggs...

Dinner will be my Italian Chicken with rice and mixed veggies. Last dinner for my daughter before I connect her up with her tour group for France in the morning. Then it will be lots of sausage and eggs!

Well, I'm here after over 24 hours of planes, airports, buses, etc.... What a dreary place. I can't believe people actually live here. I need a shower and sleep. Talk to you gents later.

Remind you of Las Vegas? Without the skyscrapers, casinos, mirth, bling, gambling, liquor or showgirls?

In other news, The Penguin keeps landing forces on Wake, and they're still not getting the job done... Of course, because I said that, Wake will fall next turn.

My evil oppo has just landed troops on Fiji in Apr 42. I'd shifted the Kiwis across to New Caledonia months ago, which at least caused him to leave Noumea alone after he'd got his troops 40 miles offshore. The bugger has swamped the area with subs though and has an Air HQ in Vanuatu which is making resupply difficult.

Well, I'm sure The Penguin will get around to doing something evil like that once we get into 1942. It's just barely Christmas here...

Do penguins celebrate Christmas? Maybe he could gift-wrap the torpedoes for you?

I'm still smarting from the five torps he put into the Saratoga. There's no need for more.

At least with five torps you can understand losing her. I lost Yorktown to a single torp just off the West Coast

Had over 20 ships doing ASW patrols around Hawai'i without getting a single sub kill. SO annoying...

Ooooh! England managed to draw with Brazil in the Maracena stadium. You know what this means? It means that England will definitely win the World Cup next summer, because we didn't have our best players or anything.

Unless it somehow turns out that they're utter pish... But that could never happen.

You'll get diddly squat until your April / May ASW upgrades. Then slightly better for the USN. The RN is better for ASW from the get go.

Well, congratulations in advance Dixie et. al. Look at the bright side, mate. You've just saved yourself a very costly plane ticket to fly to Brazil next year. Now that you know how it's going to turn out, the tourney, the travel and the vuvuzelas are entirely irrelevant. Jolly good show. Jolly, jolly good.

I'd probably be an idiot if I didn't bet my entire life savings on England winning the world cup. After all, with odds of 100-1 I'd be able to buy a mansion when the tournament finishes.

Yeah, welcome to the game I helped make, and was on the Naval Team for.

Now now...don't be nasty. Just offering some suggestions since you haven't had as much gameplay as you have programming time, mate.
