A lot of the pictures are very similar really. The scenery changes but that's it really. We didn't move around the aircraft much, as both of us 'passengers' were first timers so we wanted to enjoy it. It's also bloody dark inside a Lancaster with the hatches all shut, even in the daylight.

I can do on request pics if there's something people particularly want to see. I'm aiming to grab the bomb aimers position for my next flight. And video the takeoff and landing from there.

Wife and I celebrated our youngest one year birthday earlier this week, our 5-yr anny today, and our oldest's third birthday tomorrow.

I took my wife out for an awesome lunch...we had left over pizza and cottage cheese.

Happy Anniversery!.

You two gonna shuffle the kids off to the grandparents; sit down to a nice romantic, candle lit, head to head scenario or two of East Front/Rising Sun/West Front.

Our weather has been great for a couple of months...nice and cool...getting hot now.. 100 three days in a row now. I've gone 38 40 40 36 that last four men's night for the month ever Tuesday. I hurt my back really bad swinging or something dumb...I have a very very long backswing and follow through...Im 6'7 and hit the piss outa the ball..so my back always hurts off and on. Haven't had time to go other then men's night and the tourneys for work. I would go every Sunday after church while the boys are down for a nap, but I'd rather nap too. I play men's night with my VP in a cary we bought for 300 bucks...hahaha so that's a lot of fun, our kids are the same age, and both of our wive's are stay at home mommies. My putter is a Ping that no one claimed at the pro shop when I was in high school...being out there everyday and knowing the owners, he said it was all mine for nothing. Best putter I've ever had. I've actually put away my new tech driver for an older Titleist that is a 7 degree...I hit it too high if it is over that..constantly changing up things..I can't ever make my mind up and I'm too tight to just go spend a couple hundred bucks on some new Burners or something..

Good to hear you're out playing. Enjoy that sunshine. I played football with a lot of buddies from out there and the just love that area and couldn't wait to get back home.

I took her out to one of the local restaurants and just had an hour to ourselves. Kind of nice..my folks came over and watched them before pops went crappie fishing. Sister, who is down for the party tomorrow came and played tball with our oldest. tball is currently his thing...

I would play more Rising Sun if I weren't given the DUTCH

Much appreciated. One of the gals who I put trades in with in Kansas City all day long has the last name of Gronlund. You're neck of the woods. However, her dad is full Finn and came here as an exchange student. Her mother she said is English, though. Her first name is actually Ingrid..Sweedish/Norwegian I am guessing. But Gronlund I knew was Danish before I even asked her. I have been reading about the Norman invasion of England as of late and just asked her the other day. Is that a common last name there or not really? That, and I have been playing Crusader Kings 2 a lot lately with my bro...fun game for those interested in wanting to kill an hour in the evening and end up spending five.

Thanks again.

Thanks Jeff. Just rejoined actually. I spent quite a lot of time in the Witp back in 07-09.

I believe I actually had some posts on the original Thread incarnation on page 2.

Not common, but not unheard of at all. Finland is kind of a special case because they speak both Finnish and Swedish there (lots of ethnic Swedes, including your contact's dad, going by the name). There'd be an umlaut, ie "Grönlund". The Danish version would be "Grønlund".

Also, Crusader Kings 2 is loads of fun, if a little daunting to get into. Now where have I heard that before?

Jeff,

Been a while without seeing much of you around. Congrats on the anniversary. Wife and I celebrate our 17th in two weeks. God-where does the time go?

Anywho-how's trading life going? WSJ had an interesting article on NoDak corn production supplanting wheat for the first time in like forever. Interesting days in the commodity grain world for those that follow.

Wife's B-day today. Too bad we're both fighting head colds. It's funny-my daughter had a sore throat and runny nose three days ago. You don't think?...NAH! Couldn't be.
