Long day on BBMF today It doesn't help that admin want my paperwork for next year's Falklands trip done ASAP even though I'm not due to go for almost a year.

It really is not hard, once you learn to growl and talk at the same time!

If any of my good brothers are interested: http://www.wargamer.com/article/3404/pc-game-review-space-hulk-lightning-claws-are-still-overpowered

I had a read, it seems to reinforce a lot of things I've already read about the game. I'd love to get hold of the boardgame, but most copies are either missing bits or so expensive that I can't justify spending the cash. So I go without.

I might pick up the PC game in the Christmas Sale. Unless there's a super-duper mega sale for no reason before then.

There IS apparently an editor in the works for it. And they've released three patches since it came out on Thursday. I still had my first crash earlier tonight...

T - Nice article. I played it many years ago with a buddy of mine. We played the two squad scenarios and let his wife play the Gene Stealers. She loved rolling dice and didn't mind all the dead Gene Stealers. Made for a tough game for both of us!

Got an email from another buddy of mine today showing some early results of his allied forces against the IJN. He is being aggressive with his defense and has killed several unescorted invasions. At the bottom of his last email that I received in my gmail account there was an ad for Boise, Idaho. It said "Hi! I'm Boise." I got a kick out of that considering the email subject...

You would think, after being here since the Uncommon valor days, and with nearly 6000 posts.............

What the hell is this place?

And can I come in and play?

The place where I spend most of my time on the forum. A great collection of nutjobs, miscreants, friendly good-natured jibes and the like. Like a family of brothers-we have our warts and sharp edges-but we get on well. Welcome...

A quick question for you-how the THREAD did you get 6,000 posts and not post in THE THREAD? For spambots like Terminus, he gets 99% of his posts in monosyllabic singleton posts on this subforum. Have you actually been doing something educational on the Matrix site with your posts? What a waste.

Oh, we have our methods............a little ship that could and all that...............

Things that concern one, when one instructs sailors for a living........

'um, sir?, what did the boiler do on your ship?, was it important?.......

and

DDG's could do 48 knots, couldn't they????...........

Oh, gawd, the implications behind statements like that!
