Off to play some empire total war with my daughter.

It's time for a drink and 3 recorded episodes of Battlestar Galactica for me.

Enjoy! The turn will give you something to look forward to tomorrow night! Besides, you don't want to ruin your night reading about all of your warships that I've sunk! Goodnight!

Well, I didn't get to watch any BG.  Instead, I spent the last 3 hours doing Geometry homework that wasn't started until 2030 hours.

Good thing he asked me to "check" it before I got to the drinking.

Every 4th Monday evening at my new job is a new deployment into the production environment and everyone in the entire company stays late to help out and be ready to tackle any problems that might arise.  I get my first one tomorrow night.  I need to hit the rack to be as ready as I can for a 14 hour work day tomorrow.

Hi all,

Thanks Guys... I was just going to say hello, didn't expect to be coming back from the dead I can tell you.

I just did a quick Google search and found one of your old posts:

quote:

ORIGINAL: DivePac88
I was a bit worried on Monday though, as my Son Daniel was in Christchurch City for a birthday party. He was in the Eastern Suburbs where the flooding and some damage was, and the flat he was in got trashed. He luckily managed to get out of the City (lots of bridges and roads closed), and back down here that night. But I was a worried camper for a while, as the cell-system went down, and I couldn't get in contact with him for some time.

We simply didn't caught that "Basil" person that wrote to Mike wasn't your son... the news he gave us was terrible and nobody noticed that...

Hello

Here are some nice links for the "negeria connection"

Here is a site from a australien which likes to correspond with such persons:

http://sweetchillisauce.com/nigeria.html

He is very creative and partially poetical:

My favorite :

Don Quixote, on a quest of some adventure, and a little money.

A part of the story (newspaper article)
http://sweetchillisauce.com/ntales/nPhotos/Don.jpg

Here are the pictures and documents for the stories http://sweetchillisauce.com/gallery.html

He also published a book.

A more serious site:
http://www.scamorama.com/

A nice story about THE DUMBEST CRIMINAL ON THE PLANET

THE DUMBEST CRIMINAL ON THE PLANET

Also a serious site

http://home.rica.net/alphae/419coal/

Well some very ribald sites:

http://www.419eater.com/

and

http://www.thescambaiter.com/

But I think these stories form the first links are the best

Hope it is enjoyable...

Welcome to THE THREAD!!!

I had read most of those scambuster sites earlier. I had not, though, read the one labeled "THE DUMBEST CRIMINAL ON THE PLANET". In that, I found towards the end the following jewel;

quote:

This second point is worth dwelling on given its incomprehensible magnitude. I cannot believe how incredibly stupid you are. I mean rock-hard stupid. Dehydrated-rock-hard stupid. World-class, A-1, top of the heap, triple whopper with cheese, supersized stupid. So stupid that it goes way beyond the stupid we know into a whole different dimension of stupid. One-of-a-kind, global, universal, intergalactic stupid. You are trans-stupid stupid. Meta-stupid. Stupid collapsed on itself so far that even the neutrons have collapsed. Stupid so dense that no intellect can escape. Singularly, extraordinarily, incredibly, bewilderingly stupid. Blazing hot mid-day sun on Mercury stupid. You emit more stupid in one second than our entire galaxy emits in a year. Quasar stupid. Your life is a monument to stupidity. I am breathless that anyone or anything in our universe can really be this stupid. You are a primordial fragment from the original big bang of stupid. Some pure essence of a stupid so uncontaminated by anything else as to be beyond the laws of stupidity that we know. A behemoth, a leviathan, a colossus of stupidity.

Welcome to the THREAD, Omat!

As USS Mike, our doorman for noobs would say, "All are welcome to THE THREAD that don't take themselves too seriously."

I'm familiar with the website above, having reveled in its contents for some years. "Shiver me Timbers" for President!

ETA: Per: Nice catch-"Quasar stupid". That's hilarious.

Could the tide be shifting? UND defeated Clarkson 3-1 to go 8-1-1 in thier last ten games. U. of Minnesota goes down to Notre Dame 3-2 to go 5-4-1 in thier last ten.
Exxxcellent.
But can the Sioux suit more than 17 players this coming weekend?
Time will tell.
