Week nine in the NFL kicks off tonight.

For absolutely no good reason whatsoever, I'm taking the Finns and the 2.5.

Stick me in a warzone surrounded by the enemy and I'll be fine. But a false Wednesday is another matter...

My Matrix Pro League team jumped out to a good start against fodder, it is a long time until Monday night, though...

Good Morning! Van still isn't fixed, but you can't complain too much with the price being what it is to fix it!

Good morning all.
Last night was insane. 108 kids came to the door last night in less than two hours.

Yeah, I live in a nice neighborhood. We were watching parents drive up & drop their kids. Sad to think on it, but at least the kids got to do their thing. I bet we saw 200 + in 2 hours. I swear one bunch was an entire Day Care

Our new neighborhood has a lot of families. There were easily 200+ kids at our door last night. It was a blast!

Zero here, but that is usually the case. Something about the Rotty tied out front on a big logging chain and not fed for a couple of days... Just kidding...

We live way out in the country and not in a subdivision. Not once in the 12 years we have lived here.

Yep there were car loads dropping off kids. Nice to be in a good neighborhood. Darn near ran out of candy bars, only three left. I was about ready to handout cigarettes or small cans of Hormel Vienna sausages or potted meat. But by 8:00 it was pretty much over. Though the small towns around here were having up to 400 kids.
It was a fun night.

None. Not a single one. Probably because we live at the end of a very dark driveway/road.

We had no idea of how many kids we'd get here. On most bases you get LOTS of kids simply because it's safe. (Besides having a big, well guarded fence between them and the rest of the world) there were lots of roving USAF security personnel keeping things safe , and not getting out of hand. But it rained very hard , so we only got about 75. (Any body know how to preserve lots of left over candy?)

Ed-

All moved...found a house 7 blocks from the South River and 2 miles from the Chesapeake. Still in the process of settling in and getting used to the new routine. It was tough on my younger son who is a senior in High School...but he transitioned well and has made some new friends through the soccer team.

Speaking of which what will a beginner sailboat set me back?

Yes. Seal it in ziplock bags, put it in a medium sized cardboard box, tape the box shut, address it to me, and send it FedEx!
