Ah yes. How daft of us to think we were thawing out there for a minute. 20F? Luxury!

Back into the deepfreeze at -14F this morning. This weekend might see highs in the 0-2 range. Sigh...

I spent the last two evenings working on a Mk37 director for my 1/350 Fletcher I am working on. Still not happy with it, but it looks acceptable.

Turns run in three separate games, rjopel going into Oct of 1945 where I am Japan, the 3x2 where I am doing the USN logistics, and an AI game using the latest beta to make sure it is working good before I tell our 3x2 partners how I feel about it.

Had a IJN DD in the last game mentioned raid Midway while I had a 2xDD, AK, AP TF there delivering a construction unit in January 42. The two DDs sunk the lone DD and gained 14 and 18 night exp from it. Talk about seeing the Elephant.

Anyway, rjopel is going to be disappointed with me that the Mk37 director last night took my attention so much I didn't get a turn for him done. Sorry, was doing allied targeting system research to make my IJN play better, yeah, that's my story and I am sticking to it.

Wife is on a weekend get away with her two sisters in Houston. So, I am a single father for the weekend with two teenagers. Son has a quiz bowel event that one of the parents is doing a car pool and will be taking him on Saturday. I just need to drop him off and pick him up. Daughter has a String Festival, so, just need to drop her off in the morning and pick her up after they play in the afternoon/early evening. Then, will get them home and let them dive into their own electronic devices. So, really not much for me to do at this age. Will get more done on the Fletcher and more turns done in the meantime.

And, today is payday! Wait, wife is on girls weekend... No money left for me... back to WitP:AE, best $80.00 I ever spent! Shoot, I have more into my Fletcher with the kit, detail parts, and paint.

Anyways, good morning tithe.

53, 55, and 67 here today, Sat, and Sunday. I really hope to get in a nice bike ride, but might have to dodge some rain on Sunday. Life is rough.

My bowels are a little tricky sometimes too, but why are you sharing this with us, Nashvillen?

If they were U.S., Japanese, German or maybe even Italian I'd be sneaking these into the house about now, but British, I'll pass.

Looks great Mike. What paint scheme are you doing for her? The measure 12 camouflage looks cool, but it's a bugger for masking. Keep the photos coming. My next warship/aircraft project is on the back burner. The focus is on that bridge under construction.

The club will be running in my basement today.... they are no where near attractive as that cheerleader group photo.

The weapons configuration for this model is the late 1942 version. So, the more complicated Measure 12 (modified) http://www.shipcamouflage.com/measure_12_modified.htm is what I will be doing. Lots of painting in my future.

Looking good! I have some model kits in the bottom of the closet, but the last time I built one I was a kid. Do i have room for another hobby? Hmmm, my wife sez NO!

Hey, if the British themselves did not preserve their WWII warships, Why should I?
