Stil watching the Downton Abbey repeats. I heard series two was not as good. Rubbish - every episode has been great as far as I am concerned

I do want to watch this series. Swedish TV showed it but I missed it.

At the moment I am watching Entourage.

Just finished watching "Broadchurch" - really really good.

Can't see how they can make a series two without wholesale cast changes though !

Finally FINALLY got around to watching "Life of Pi" this weekend with the kids.  A beautiful and wonderfully told movie.  A visual tour de force.  We watched it with my 9 year old son (who really enjoyed it) and my 6 YO daughter (who mostly enjoyed it, but was a little nervous at some scary moments).  It earned several Academy Awards last year-richly deserved.  Excellent cinema.

I couldn't wait for ITV3 and their once a day repeats so rented the two remaining series and two Christmas specials from ITV player and watched the rest of the series over a few marathon sessions.

So I am now up to date on Downton Abbey

Verdict: Brilliant Shocker at the end though

Couldn't agree more. Very good series. By "Shocker at the end" I presume you mean the men coming to dinner in tuxedoes with black ties? Oh, how the casual dressers were lambasted! Quite a shock!

It's no airplane but it had it's moments. The backward scene was unique. The line "There are no good white basketball players" I'll always remember. The delivery of some of the jokes was way to slow, telegraphing the punchlines. The movie attacks a number of film zonras which kept it fresh throughout, holding my interest till the end. For any fan of parody movies I'd say this is a must see.

I'll watch it again.
