Wow - thanks! Didn't notice that myself. Probably got ballooned up by posting multiple screen pics and such per turn lately.

Home Islands west. Kochi airfield to size 5. A number of night strikes against our fleet last night and the great majority were intercepted by night fighters. No hits on our ships. Movement on the trail is slow and that's just how it is.

A number of assault convoys have been dispatched to pick up Kumamoto invaders. Some are in the Marianas so this will take a bit. PacAO is loading now at Daito Shoto to take up operations at Yakushima for the invasion.

Osaka/Kyoto. The B-29B had a number of strays again last night but many did find their target and boosted the Fires at Osaka/Kyoto to almost 43,000.

Do you get supply flow from the USSR before they activate? Specifically, from USSR to China? Doesn't sound right...

You are probably right. I am just an optimist.

Select a Russian base hex near the Chinese border and press the 5 key to see the potential flow. I am not certain if any flow does occur before activation - I think Lokasenna says "no" but I do not know how he decided that.

Don't have a turn right now, but I thought that key only worked in AI games because it leaked Intel in PBM games??

You get little yellow markers where your supply is flowing, in an AI game you get numerical values that give you info on the level of supply flow.

Best wishes

Roger

Sand boxing against the AI allows one to see how supply flows in some critical places like Oz .. like Burma ..

I'll have a look at the '5' data next turn then. Well, no, actually after I capture that next town. Due to travel time that will be quite a few turns from now.

Too lazy to set up a sand box of that one right now, Crackaces!

I do know that you can not move Chinese units into Soviet territory even if Russia is active. And I am petty sure that supply does not flow from
Soviet bases to Chinese bases.

OK. At least I will cut off their retreat path.

Holy Banzai, Batman! A number of our units got smacked down but good and will pull back to recover. Air units in the region have been realigned and some pulled out of training to start hammering defenses around Manila. A major supply infusion is underway to support longer than anticipated operations. It will be quite a while before the next assault. I'm not sure if any land combat units will be diverted to help, as the current main objective is the Home Islands. Manila might just turn out to be the Emperor's last redoubt!

Residual fires seem to be climbing steadily and industry damage is piling up. You must have a lot of strategic points now.

Not really. Since the jumps with some successful raids before defenses really stiffened, the strategic point total has only been creeping upwards.
