Not much chance of major change to the leaderboard tonight insofar as everyone has gone for the Spanish to win. Assuming this is the case as expected, then the big prize will be for the extra point; 2-0 is the most popular prediction with 3 votes (3-1 also has one vote). The other forecasts are one each for the odd goal in 1, 3 and 5. We'll see soon enough....

They are supposed to dominate no matter what. Still, France has two really dangerous guys: Benzema and Ribéry.... so... Let's see what happens during the 2nd half

Redcoat's Llama luckily predicted 1-0 - must have thought he'd got it with a minute to go.

So, Portugal v Spain is one semi. Easy for Spain I reckon.

Last quarter final England v Italy tomorrow. Winner plays Germany in Semi.

How bad can England play?

It's been a good tournament so far, at least on the radio. I have been enjoying it.

I take it that is a rhetorical question?

Well, it seems that opposing teams cannot believe how badly England are playing and while they are wondering how the hell England ever qualified for this tournament - England scores the winner. I figure if England really, really stink then Italy will be so busy laughing at them that England could win it.

It might all depend on whether or not the Italians can keep a straight face.

You have already mentioned the radio. So you're not watching the games on TV? Just listening?

Is it me, or is there something very unlikeable about the German manager??

But he’s got a great sense of humour

I know it’s just a joke, but that is Löw. The ball-boy Neuer saw him coming. Löw was just too Klose behind.

Not missing anything. Another mediocre football tournament. Last exciting Euro was '96, last exciting world cup was '90.
