You can name your task forces. That might help you remember what they were put together to do. Other than that, I am learning that a notebook is indispensable for playing this game.

Thanks Ingtar dude. I'm going to have to break down and actually write some notes to myself in some form or other. It's that or just play by the seat of my pants. And I don't do that all too well.

I received Jim's moves yesterday and only just now got through w/ Rob's moves so I did the combat replay etc. and here's the latest combat results.

Here's the latest Tracker alerts. I've got a bunch of LB's starting to be built. I've got to turn those off since I don't need them. For anything. That I can think of. Anybody think of a use I might have for some LB's?

Here's the latest spoilage report......they are all rather small-ish numbers except for Palembang. I've got multiple convoys pulling fuel
out of there as fast as they can so we can save as much fuel as possible. Also, I've turned off the refinery so no more fuel will be
produced there for a while. That will help the situation.

Operation SKIDDING CAR continues at Cebu. The airfield isn't shut down yet, which is one goal of the operation so I'm going to have
to do this again for a couple of weeks probably. Meanwhile, I've been thinking of doing something like this at Bataan so as to speed up
the beat-down there as well.

Port Moresby is turning out to be a hot spot lately. At least one of the ships hit was sunk and one more is in doubt. At least some of
the equipment got ashore. Those Jap ground forces need it.

I thought I'd put all the damaged ships in one TF and escort them back to Buna at cruise speed.

Meanwhile, I'm still re-damaging all the damaged planes at Wenchow.

Operation BEAT-DOWN continues at Manila. This is going way too slow. I'm guessing those Betty's that raided Wenchow could have
been more profitably used on Manila. If and when I ever get Clark Field back from Jim I'll have to re-direct those Betty's to pound
Manila instead of Wenchow. I need to ship in some more construction engineers to revamp the air field(s) in and around Manila so as
to be able to wield more air power on the Allied forces in this area. Also, I'm thinking I can put some DMS ships into the TF that goes
in to bombard Bataan if and when I'm ever in a position to do that. I'd rather get Manila first because it's a source of supply to the
Allies but I've got nothing against grabbing Bataan first in order to get rid of that minefield so as to be able to put some ship-to-shore
bombardment on Manila itself. Whatever works is good in my book.

Here's my main effort at ground pounding the Allies at Port Moresby today ( or actually, yesterday ). It looks like the raid didn't have
much effect however, since the only thing listed as damaged was two of my planes.

I have no idea what caused this raid by Zero's on Cagayan. But it didn't hit anything meaningfully for two reasons: (1) they were attacking from way way too high and (2) they are using only 60kg bombs. I could probably move these Zero's to somewhere else, say Java or somewhere.

I found the problem for the previous attack........some Zero's are set to attack the airfield at 20K. I'm going to fix the problem by moving
the Zero's somewhere else and a much different altitude.

I guess I've been avoiding this part of the world but it's time I face the facts: I'm going to have to move some planes into Moulmein to do
some CAP work or maybe ship in some AA unit(s) or both.

In addition to everything that has already happened at Loemadjang there was this Allied bombardment attack. And to cap everything
off, my guys there are out of supplies.

I'm working my way down the list of all TF's and I've just now gotten to the one carrying the second installment of troops for Port
Moresby. It's finally fully loaded and setting off the south around the horn of the island. I expect it to land at PM in about three or four
days.

First a message from my sponsor.... After feeling crappy all day Friday, it settled into a head cold today. I actually feel better today - thanks to OTC cold medicine. I'm still sleeping a lot though.

Talk about being distracted. I didn't notice until just now that Jim has advanced an Allied unit into the Dill hex to contest ownership
with the 1st Ind Engineer unit there. I'm going to have to do something about that I guess. He will probably own it tomorrow.

Here's all the ships that are being repaired somewhere. This cut and paste has been doctored to delete the location of the ship(s) for
OPSEC purposes. And there are about 30 more ships that wouldn't fit into the picture.

EDIT: Posted a new picture with all the ships under repair showing ....those at the bottom I forgot to delete the location(s). D'oh.

This is the Singapore situation. I blew up the image by 20% to make it easier to see but now you almost can't read the labels. So I guess
the trick is to blow up the image and THEN apply the labels. Now I know.

This is the Java situation. I've decided to invade from the end caps and move toward the middle from both ends hopefully
simultaneously.
