My main base for recovering the bombardment force has 5 AKE's based there and only one of them shows the expenditure of any ops
points and there's a corresponding decrease of on-board supplies for that ship which leads me to believe that that particular AKE
probably spent about 1300 supplies to rearm the TF doing the bombardment. So I'm probably going to run out of supplies in about 10
of these bombardments. I'll have to stagger the AKE's doing their run to get more supplies and I'll need a couple of PB's to act as
escorts for the supply run boats. One boat loading supplies, one in the pipelline outbound from base, one at least in base, one
inbound to base, that's probably about 4 escorts needed and I can go to Saigon or somewhere to get the supplies I'm going to need.

One of my AP's takes a torpedo in the side:

EDIT: I've since discovered that the AP in question actually sank in this encounter.

My Oscar's do a sweep over Singapore. Jim has been saving up his fighters and bombers for this final assault phase I guess. My
Oscar's are terribly outnumbered but they onlyl lost one and shot three down, not too bad for being so outnumbered I guess. Maybe
future sweeps will bring similar results. Maybe I need to move some more fighters down south to help do the sweeping.

All the necessary pieces of the 5th Division are in the southern half of Malaya so I'm thinking without too much trouble I might be able to
put the 5th division back together and make a much stronger unit out of it when I'm fighting in Singapore.

And then there was this air attack on Singapore where my Zero's were badly outnumbered and the CAP didn't hold and the Betty's got
chewed up somewhat. I should have waited until the sweeping was overwith but NNNNnnnnnooooooooooooo. And I lost some good
planes and crews instead.

And then there was this airstrike on Manila. I may as well turn off the attacking by the Nell's if that's the best they can do.

And then it was time for my strike on Port Moresby even though it doesn't seem to be doing anything.......but it bucks up the men.

I received Jim's moves on Wed. @ 14:22 and then sent the combat replay file etc. at 18:07 and here it is 21:54 and
I'm still working on the AAR and not doing my moves. Well some more combat action and then the moves. Unless somebody doesn't
concur. Speak up if you have a mind to. This is an open AAR I'm guessing.

And then it was time for this air raid on Manila. This time not outnumbered. Finally. I'm thinking maybe Jim's just about out of fighters
in the Manila area. Or maybe he's got some few left on stand down, saving them for later in the month or something. Or maybe he's
transfering pilots out of this Command to save them for later. Maybe he's already paid the PP's on the B-17's to have flown them to
Dutch airports or maybe right now they are already sitting on a field in Australia and they are already being used for Naval Search to
locate my ships off the east coast or something. < *clue* >

This is more or less the typical China Jap attack via air result. Um......sometimes there are more losses and sometimes I get a plane
dinged but most of the time this is what they ( China Jap attacks by air ) look like. There are several and China doesn't post as pretty
a picture as the deep water ones so China doesn't get reported much. Somebody concur.

That same afternoon there was this almost simultaneously happening event taking place:

EDIT: I don't know why they used bombs rather than torpedos.......I'll have to look into that and see if I even brought some with me.
EDIT2: I found out that all the Kate's were set for using bombs instead of using torpedoes so I changed it so as to bring about the
change of torps instead of bombs 'cause torps sink more ships than bombs I'm guessing. I have some Val's present to do the dive
bombing kinds of things and with Zero's for escort we've got one of everything on this trip. I just hope to be able to stretch out the
number of sorties to something close to 100% of them somehow.

And then there's this late afternoon air strike by some other groups of carrier-planes. Henly and Patterson are both showing up on the
sunk ships list so maybe they are gone.

So um.....Jim....I'm finally through with the combat results information so it's your turn to post your synopsis of your situation if you'd like. I'm going to get busy working on my moves.

EDIT: Here's where the Allied TF's are:

Here's a link to download the saved game. You may have to rename the file to get it to work right by clipping the date off the file name.

Here's the saved game download link

EDIT: The password is "test" without the quotes.

The 82nd Naval Guard unit is poised to invade Christmas Island IO sometime late tonight or in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow.
We'll see if the island is empty or not. Capturing this island will hamper Allied efforts to supply Australia from Diego Garcia and India.
