Cotabato Invasion - Battle Day 2 Turns out Erik did not retire the KB. Again the ugly 8 hex rule rears it ugly head. My CV forces alone take on the strikes as no other shipping is attacked. At first it looks like we might prevail but then a good coordinated strike goes through: quote:

But after this strike I realise that the Allied CV fleet is still very much a fighting force to be reckoned with! quote:

Only 3 CVEs are lost outright and I might lose the Unicorn tomorrow. If I can keep anything from being hit tomorrow I´m quite happy with the outcome. The CVEs repair quickly even when heavily damaged. Same thing with the CVLs. All can be repaired locally except Bunker Hill Win or Loss? While this looks like a tactical Allied defeat its actually not. Erik has shot both the KB air arm and the LBA with over 1000 losses over two days. I on the other hand still have a viable CV force with roughly 750 AC on board. And most importantly I now have a potential level 9 AF on Mindanao! Huzzah!!! quote:
