Interesting note from the RHS thread from the primary researcher for the US land OOB:

"There are some errors with the (device 1154) short howitzer worth fixing; device production should not start until 42/12; a few of the 1942 Regiments arrive with the M3s -- only units arriving after 4301 should arrive equipped. The short howitzer was not fielded in the Pacific until 1943."

Scenario 004 - Guadalcanal - Update v01:
Being in a HtH game, the Jap player misses the AR Akashi in Truk, checked the scenario in the editor and there it's not set to active.
Unless that is for a very good reason this is an error as the Akashi was in Truk, even repairing the carrier Shōkaku.

BD66,

I suspect somehow, that during the update of our ongoing H2H it vanished somehow, or the flag was set to inactive in the Scenario DB. In other beta 7 games I got the AR in Truk :O

Feedback for Guadalcanal Scenario 004:

-CL Achilles has 2 Walrus units with identical name

-B-26 bombers units have with empty upgrade path, they show "Upgrade - (0)".

-The "Hovey" flagship of TF147 has zero fuel at start of the scenario, is that correct?

-Check 121st Naval Base Force, looks to me like a USAAF base force and not a naval base force, also their TOE is of a USAAF BF.

-Why is none of the seebea units on New Caledonia able to move north in strategic mode?

-Did the 1st Australian Division have 3 Brigades at all?
Seems that 2nd and 3rd Brigade were never part of the 1st Division. Initially the 1st Div. consisted of the 1st and 8th Brigade.

-The Australian 3rd Div. reorganized in August 42 and merged the 37th, 52nd, 58th and 59th battalion, in September 10th Brigade was disbanded and its battalions reallocated to the 4th and 15th Brigade. Finally in October the 29th and 46th Battalion were also merged, 3rd Division was left with 6 battalions in 2 brigades.
I wonder if this strong shrinking is because of the battalions being at low strength so it was necessary to merge them or that men & material were used to fill other units.
If it was because low manpower the TOE has to be reworked as all brigades are almost at full strength, should it be that material & men were transferred to other units it should be up to the player if he wants to disband the 10th Brigade or not.

-Should the 16th and 17th Brigades of the 6th Australian Division arrive later and the 19th Brigade be removed?
19th did garrison duty in Western Australia & Norther Territory and didn't see action until 1944.
16th & 17th arrived in August 42 in Australia and at first returned to their states of origin(Victoria & New South Wales), they had their "welcome home parades" in Sydney on 16th and in Melbourne on 17th August.
I advise to make the 19th either destroyed, so player can buy it back to fill it up or let the 6th Division form without it, or if not destroyed make it at least a different restricted command so player has to buy it for the full political points and not 1/4 like it is now.
The 16th and17th Brigade shouldn't be available before mid August at earliest.

-Why is Kanga Force Battalion missing?

-Fifth Airforce HQ arrives as Corps HQ, shouldn't it be an Air HQ?

-Why isn't any of the Australian Brigades(except the 30th who upgrades from the CMF 41 Brigade to Jungle TOE Brigade) upgraded to a jungle TOE? Player could only make this my merging the brigades into the division and splitting them again loosing the names on it. This makes the brigade setup at start somehow useless and the specific TOE for those brigades too.

-Why is the AS Maidstone in the scenario? That ship wasn't in the Pacific Theater until November 1943.

-Why is AS Luicia in the scenario? It was from 1942 on part of the Eastern Fleet.

Also in Guadalcanal scenario,

If you rebuild and combine elements of 32 USA Div at Rockhampton, it upgrades on turn 2 to a 45 USA Div and you get Pershing and Sherman tanks...

Just a general feedback as I haven't tested the new AI much but I think you tried to put in some surprises so that the AI isn't as foreseeable, if so I just wonder if some attempts may lead to harming the AI more than helping it, an example is a big invasion convoy in the Indian Ocean, no clue where it was to hit but it was intercepted and lost a lot ships and men. But I think that was under the old files as I can't the results anymore, anyhow I just hope the AI isn't too bold or the tide could turn much faster and harder when to game proceeds.

A small feedback for the Japanese side of the Guadalcanal 004 scenario:
There is often "Dublon Island" mentioned when searching for Truk, also a dry dock is mentioned. I guess that is why dababes version uses an ARD there, maybe that would be a good addition for the official scenario too as every bigger repair takes ages off-map.

I just started a scenario 1 game as Japan against Allied AI (no historical first turn).
The actual components of the RGC and NCPC Chinese LCUs are matching the TOE as shown ingame (TOE button). Chinese HMGs are in the second row. There is no sign for an available TOE upgrade.
Ending the turn initiates a TOE change. Most LCUs change the HMG to Infantry. The others show a possible TOE upgrade (with Infantry instead of HMG). The TOE buttons shown Infantry in the second slot.
I started up the Editor and had a look a the TOEs in scen1 (2039-2043, 2318-2319). All are showing HMGs as second weapon.
Why do they even change from TOE 2039 to 2041 (except that even 2041 has HMG as second "weapon"??
Where is this TOE change coming from ??
