Have reinstalled but the issue remains the same im running the latest version 1.05 i go through the start up screens but then the game fails and freezes i get this message

Im at screen resolution 1920x1080 any ideas thanks Ian

Have reduced the screen resolution and the problem seems to be solved i wonder what the highest resolution the game runs under is ??

How do you change screen resolution? I have the same problem and using win 7.
You mean changing the screen resolution in game or the standard screen resolution?

1920x1080 is a very common screen resolution, I doubt that is the problem. Maybe not enough memory?
I run the game on Win7 64Bit 8GB Ram with screen resolution 2560x1440.

@sapper,
I would be interested to know:

1. your Win8 details. Do you have 32bit or 64bit version?

2. do you have a computer/labtop with "hybrid graphics"?

the same issue I'm getting with ATG when I first open the game is now happening with this game as well. i have upgraded to the latest patch as well 151j i think it is. i have to close the program then reopen it and am able to play, just as in ATG. thanks
