Not sure where to post this problem, MR maybe you can help here, I purchased Hexdraw this year and had it loaded on my desktop, well, it crashed and had to get a new harddrive and lost everything I had on it.

The question I have, would the company have a record of when I purchased it and give me another copy of it? Or am I s^&t out pf luck and have to purchased a new copy?

That I don't know. I bought the CD and not just the download for that very reason.

Maybe somebody else has dealt with them over this issue. I can't believe you are in a rare situation.

Good Hunting.

I know you guys are chomping at the bit for these things. I only have a small number of hours each evening and the weekends to get things done and the bugs and code work have out ranked the mod guides. I did get a basic level 1 PNG hex map file done yesterday and I'll be spending a fair amount of time today in Modding Guide 1.

I do thank you guys for your patience.

Since there is no random map generator I think we'll need to rely on the community pretty heavily for these. Anything to make it easier, even just a good solid tutorial will be greatly appreciated

I don't understand the comment about a tutorial. I made a map making tutorial decades ago for this game. Well, at least it seems like decades ago.

Try this thread on for size:

Finally got ahold of Jo Bader and he help me get my key for HexDraw program and I'm good to go. Will start to work on a map tomorrow, taking a day off from work.
