Hi
here is a small mod that modifies the transition graphics that are used to leap some terrain of a hex like a village for example into the surrounding hexes.
In vanilla these are at least for my taste much too strong, best example here is Kharkov that looks like the city goes over into forest south of it but that is not true there is a line of "Plain & Field" hexes between city and forest.
My modified files will show you exactly that on all three zoom levels, they still keep some terrain leaped into surrounding hexes to keep immersion but to a much smaller degree.

Original folder structure is present so using JSGME should make no problems.

Please post if you have any problems, requests or advises.

Here a screenshot from the example I mentioned, its the city of Kharkov.
Please only watch for the size of the transition around hexes with village, city, forest, etc., there are already other graphics from other mods visible, like small hexes field from Kiddytoto, or plain hexes from Krupp, these are NOT part of my mod.

Just to contrast the original version of the hex transitions:

I realize this is rather late after the intil poste, but I'm very interested in this. The link above doesn't work anymore, can you re-share?

Thx,
Glenn

The terrain in this game is tremendously simplified. It looks more like a billiard table than anything else.
