So so for me...but losing Kompany is a major blow as I have three players (Chelsea and Aston Villa) who won't play in Gameweek 3 and two others injured.....

I'm basically in the same boat as you.
But I have Van Persie.

So at the end of Gameweek 1 we have the following provisional scores. I am a little confused as the rules states that subs are used that don't change your own formation - but also states that "doesn't break formation rules".

So I played 3-4-3 but was given a point for a defender who played (but was a sub in my team) and they removed a striker that didn't. Here's the rule:

If any of your outfield players play 0 minutes in the Gameweek, they will be substituted by the highest priority outfield substitute who played in the Gameweek and doesn't break the formation rules (eg. If your starting team has 3 defenders, a defender can only be replaced by another defender).

Anyway here is the table subject to final revision:

1. Last Post (ezz) – 84pts
2. Laralayabouts2 (JeffK) – 76pts
3. Warspite Hotspur FC (warspite1) – 65pts
4. Zeta16 (Zeta16) – 61pts
5. FC Stricker (Admiral Stricker) – 58pts
6. Matrix FC ( th1207) – 56pts
7. Les Paul (VPaulus) – 54pts
8. Tired & Emotional (Dixie) – 53pts
8. Lord of the Ings (Encircled) – 53pts
10. Sardaukars (Sardaukar) – 52pts
11. Ormster United (Orm) – 51pts

Its a bug, send it to michaelm.

I got caught by Mata only playing once, he's been sent to Coventry and Silva is in my squad for round 2.

Its hard to get a handle on everyones position until all teams have played the same number of games.

My new team.

Edit: At least I correctly predicted my teams position in the league.

My updated team has a more mundane look. But at least I managed to put one more Swede in the team. Probably to my detriment.

Mata out and Silva in as part of a gradual evolution of the team. I've got my planned transfers for the next month or so sorted out.

This is how they line up this week, I'm not expecting much from the defence though.

Why wasn't Podolski a starter player in round one. When he starts he scores two goals so I wonder if Wenger knows what he is doing.

Told you I knew what I was doing! A decent points haul so far this week despite my forwards not scoring, however Ben Foster is a doubt for next week, so both my keepers are injured

It appears that several of you guys have gone for Chelsea and Man Utd players in the same team. I'm not a big fan of this approach in general, especially not putting attackers from one team in with defenders from the other. If your strikers score then the defenders lose points, if your defenders keep a clean sheet then you've lost points from your attackers. Hopefully you've all cocked it up and I'll go top of the league!

Just one game to go this weekend and I'm looking good so far. It seems that several of our competitors have placed many of their eggs in a Manchester United shaped basket, so a nice 1-0 win for Chelsea would help me a lot Especially if Ivanovic manages to score the goal.

You choose your team and takes your lumps.

With only 1 substitution per week you cant be flexible enough to keep swapping around.

Did you ever confirm the prize was a ride in the back of the Lanc??

I'd settle for the nose turret!!
