The event below should sort out the problem in the SP version of the 1756 and 1757 campaigns. Should stress the MP version is fine.

What you need to do is to go the /events directory and make a backup of the "1757 Events" text file (just copy and paste in the directory). Then open that file (use a text editor not word) and find the event:

RUS_MemelLanding175

Replace all the text in that event with:

ChangeSupply = 200;50;0

This will sort out the problem of the Russians being blocked in Wierzbolow on arrival. They can now move onto Koenigsberg. Movement from there across the rest of Poland will depend on proper use of the cards that allow you to use light cavalry to increase your military control.

Hi!

I just got the RoP Gold Upgrade Kit from the Slitherine store. Is the fix mentioned above already included or do I still have to make the change?

No you need this.

all that has happened is the MP version of this event chain was sorted out but the SP version lacks some key lines. The result is the Russians arrive on the east edge and can't move.

Even with this, once you have taken Koenigsberg, you need to play the 'scouting' cards (use the Cossacks) to advance across Poland - will take 6 months - 1 year to achieve.

When I attempt to save the file and apply the fix it says "Access denied". Any idea how to correct this?

sorry about really slow response ... don't come down to this forum v often.

In general, you may get quicker responses on the AGEOD forum.

My only suggestion would be to try and open the game in administrator mode? That has solved some odd problems for me. But not sure why you are having a problem - all this does is to change an event not alter the .exe files

I`ve seen a fix for this over at the Ageod forum: http://www.ageod-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=267&t=34104

The "Memel" fix at the bottom of the first post differs a bit from the solution posted here.
The fix above by loki100 says:

Compared to Bohemond`s fix over at Ageod:

StartEvent = evt_nam_RUS_MemelLanding1757|1|1|NULL|NULL|$Memel|NULL

Should it be "AUS" or "RUS"? Confused...
