Status: offline 		Is part of the reason that Cities from the USA rate so badly is the way that so many service workers "harrass" customers for a tip.

I understand their economic reason for it, many only earn around USD$10 per hr (At MacDonalds its around $7.50) so have to get tips to survive. However for people from other Nations this can be very offputting and as it starts at the airport and follows your every move it can ruin your opinion despite other more positive experiences.

Ah, Detroit done in by policies of certain types of politicians I am not allowed to mention. 60 years of one party rule gets that for you. Hey, warspite, why not hope across the pond, move to Detroit and built a new "center".

I'll be the first to say, that it depends ON WHERE you LIVE in what is affectionately called "The Town" - compared to "The City" (San Francisco). I've attached a map that helps provide a comparison for east coasters.

And there is a "modern day" Star Wars taking place at the Port of Oakland
