If this hasn't been asked for already can you add the CF-101B Voodoo to DB3000. It was in squadron service in Canada till 1984. Thanks!

I don't see the KC-46A? Am I just not seeing it in the DB3000?

Thanks!

I'm afraid we need more (detailed!) info in order to make a good implementation. If you know any good sources that have enough info please post up.

Thanks!

There's an inaccuracy with the SS-N-3a Shaddock missile. It currently can be launched by submarines that are submerged, but should only be able to be launched when on the surface. That was one of the main problems with the Soviet Juliett and Echo class subs. I updated my spreadsheet accordingly:

Wondering is it possible to add DECOYs in database. The TALD was used with great success in the opening stages of Operation Desert Storm in 1991; more than 100 were launched on the opening night of the war, with the first being deployed by Lt Jeff Greer. This prompted the Iraqi air defense to activate many of its radars - most of which were then destroyed by anti-radiation missiles.

Also this was used in Operation El-Dorado Canyon in 1986 by US Navy EA-6B's.

ADM-141 TALD
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADM-141_TALD
http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/equip/tald.htm

Older ADM-20 Quail could be also added (Cold War databse).
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADM-20_Quail

For Soviet Union not sure did they have decoy missiles. But KH-20 (AS-3 KANGAROO) / K-10 (AS-2 KIPPER) did have K-10SP-version with Countermeasures platform with jammer systems.

There is TALD missiles already. Excellent! Only problem is to find aircraft which could fire those.

Only problem with TALDs I have is that there is no way yet to have the AI fire them. But in the future I know it will be added surely :)

It took a while to found the way to deploy TALDs. I used bearing attack. BTW. F-14 Tomcat should have these TALDs 1986 version too, US Navy used them against Libya. Now only 1990+ Tomcat's can arm them.

Requested platform...

Cigarette Powerboat

http://www.cigaretteracing.com/eng/38_topgun.php

(There are actually several types, but there was a lot of information for the 38' Top Gun, so I used that as the "generic" model)

Requested platforms...

ARMED versions of the following ships (already in database):
13-m Motor Yacht
38-m Motor Yacht
23-m Fishing Boat
35-m Fishing Boat
800-ton Trawler
1250-ton Large Trawler
Commercial Tugboat

Basically, just add a 7 mm. machine gun. These would allow designers to simulate rebels, police boats, pirates, terrorists, drug runners, etc. This way there will be a version in the database and the weapon mount won't disappear every time there is a database rebuild (which I think is what happens if you just make a custom version by adding a weapon mount in the scenario editor).

Thanks.

Requested platform...

Suicide boat

This is probably just a matter of taking one of the civilian/commercial boat platforms (or a couple of them) and adding some kind of bomb, warhead, etc. When it gets close enough to its target, it goes off, sinking itself but also damaging the target vessel. A boat like this might also have rocket launchers or even a shoulder-launched SAM so it can defend itself long enough to get close to its target.

Thanks.

Had a look at the NZ entries in the database and noticed a couple of things with the aircraft:
(All quotes from the RNZAF site)

NH90TTH is operated by the Air Force

All the Orions are also operated by the Air Force
quote:

The RNZAF took delivery of five P-3B Orions in 1966 (NZ4201 - NZ4205). In 1985 an ex-RAAF P-3B was purchased (NZ4206). All six Orions were upgraded (avionics and radio systems) under Project RIGEL in the early 1980s. Following the upgrade the designation P-3K was applied to these aircraft. Aircraft that have undergone the current upgrade programme are designated P-3K2.

Where's the Huey? RNZAF has operated the UH-1H since 1970
quote:

The RNZAF currently operates 13 Iroquois helicopters. Five UH-1D (NZ3801- NZ3805) were delivered in 1966. A further nine UH-1H (NZ3806 - NZ3814) were delivered in 1970. A further UH-1H (NZ3815) was delivered in 1976. The UH-1Ds were progressively upgraded to UH-1H standard during the mid 1970s. Two ex-US Army UH-1H attrition airframes were purchased in 1996. One has been brought into service as NZ3816.

Also needs the C-130H
quote:

The RNZAF currently operates five C-130 Hercules. It took delivery of the first three Hercules (NZ7001 - NZ7003) in 1965. These were the first C-130H production models off the Lockheed production line. A further two C-130H, (NZ7004 - NZ7005) were added in 1969. Currently the aircraft are undergoing a modernisation and structural improvement programme to ensure that last until 2015. Upgraded aircraft are designated C-130H (NZ).

Air force also operates 2 Boeing 757-200s
quote:

Two Boeing 757-200 were received in 2003. Starting in 2007 both aircraft were fitted with an upper deck cargo door to facilitate an 11-pallet cargo capability, internal air stairs, upgraded engines and flight deck enhancements including full compliance with current global air navigation specifications and standards.

Do you have any evidence that suggests Austrian 105´s were/are able to use AAMs, ASMs or Bombs?

For the Philippines can you add the f-8H Crusader:
from the internet:
In late 1977, the Philippine government purchased 35 secondhand U.S. Navy F-8Hs that were stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in Arizona.[31] Twenty-five of them were refurbished by Vought and the remaining 10 were used for spare parts.[31] As part of the deal, the U.S. would train Philippine pilots in using the TF-8A.[31] They were mostly used for intercepting Soviet bombers.[31] The F-8s were grounded in 1988 and were finally withdrawn from service in 1991 after they were badly damaged by the Mount Pinatubo eruption, and have since been offered for sale as scrap.

So it looks like their service life with the Philippine Air Force was 1977 to 1988........thanks!

Japan's SSM-1 and SSM-1B are using active seeker instead of IIR seeker.
SSM-1B is ship launch variant of SSM-1. So, there is no #326- SSM Coy (SSM-1B[Type 90]).
SSM-1 Coy's operator should be Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.

Type 054A could only guide one HQ-16 currently. (Only one SA-N-12 channel.)

According to
http://www.sinodefence.com/navy/surface/type054a-jiangkai-ii.asp
It should able to guide 8 missiles to attack 4 targets.

I think it can engage two targets (One with STIR, another with CAS.)

B-52H 2016 loadout change

quote:

Boeing will produce three prototype launchers for test and evaluation. Initial capability is expected in March 2016, and potential follow-on efforts could add additional weapons and allow a mixed load of different types of weapons. Following the upgrade’s first phase, the B-52s will be able to carry 24 500-pound Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) or 20 2,000-pound JDAMs. Later phases will add the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) and its extended range variant (JASSM-ER), as well as the Miniature Air Launched Decoy (MALD) and its jammer variant (MALD/J).

Platform Request - - - -

Please add a USNS "Supply" class, T-AOE version
(unweaponized).

You have entries #490 and #897 for AOE 6 Supply.
The latter entry is dated from 1997-2003.

Supply is a class of 4 ships.
All 4 ships have been transferred to
Military Sealift Command (MSC) and their designations
have all been changed from AOE to T-AOE.
Please refer to Janes 2011-2012 pg 951 for updated
stats -- for example, crew is 188 instead of 235.
(but, also see the USNI book below...)

Most important, this transferred class has been
de-weaponized. (which is why I write.)

For the new, T-AOE USNS Supply Class, please drop
the CIWS, the Bushmaster, and the Sea Sparrow.
Please adjust the weapons magazines accordingly.
I believe the sensors have also been de-weaponized.
(Those Sparrows are gone.)
Please drop the Mk95's (both mounts, both EO and radar).
Retain the SPS-64 and SPS-67.

Details of what was dropped can be found -->
See page 271 of "The Naval Institute Guide to the Ships
and Aircraft of the U.S. Fleet" 18th edition.
They say the Pixies are gone, too.

Confirmation of the de-weaponization, transfer, and
continued service can be found at:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USNS_Supply_%28T-AOE-6%29
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USNS_Rainier_%28T-AOE-7%29
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USNS_Arctic_%28T-AOE-8%29
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USNS_Bridge_%28T-AOE-10%29

replenishment-at-sea for CVN 77 can be found at:

Please add Sudan.

I'm not sure of the exact models of their aircraft, but according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudan_Air_Force they had:

MiG-29
F-7 Airguard
MiG-17
Su-24M
Su-25
MiG-23BN/MiG-23UB
K-8
A-5
An-24RV
DHC-5D
F.27 Mk 100
C-130H
ICA IAR-330L PUMA
AB212
Bo 105CB
Mi-8T
Mi-24D/Mi-24V/Mi-24

For a recent scenario, I guesstimated which ones would likely be used in their air force, but I would feel better if there was an "official ruling." Thanks.
