Sorry if this has been covered before, but is there a way to sticky a range and bearing on the map? I could swear I've seen it done.

Ctrl-D, then klick on the map and move the cursor to see range and bearing.

Yes, but is there a way to paste it on the map as you would a reference point?

Reference points can be designated as being positioned relative to specified units...(is that what you're asking?)

No, that part I also got... the range and bearing tool [ctrl-d]: can that be stuck on the map as you would a reference point so that when I'm done using the range and bearing tool, the range and bearing I measured with it is left displayed on the map for reference?

Once I'm done using the R&B tool, hit esc or what-have-you, remaining upon the map is the white line with the information of xxx nm - xxx deg displayed.

The way I'm using it now, that information goes poof as soon as I'm done using the tool and/or click elsewhere on the map.

What we're suggesting is to use the Control-D option, esc out of that tool, then (without moving cursor), drop a ref point (Ctrl key, insert RP, and then Enter).
