Question about Land Units, Headquarters and Leaders...

Command and Control:
1- C&C ‘Bug/exploit’? Or WAD?: I understand it cost one CP and one Political Point to transfer a unit to a new HQ. Thus, transferring a German division with 4 sub-units will cost 4 CP to the new Leader and 4 Political Points. However, it seems that when a leader is down to 0 CP, we can still transfer units - making this a mini-loophole/mini exploit - as long as we have Political Points to do so. So just wait for your leader to be down to zero CP (say just after having played a card) then transfer as many units to him. I’d be curious to hear Vic, the developer, if this is on purpose or something overlooked?

Units/ReplacementDisbanding and XP:
2- Quoting the errata: “Replacements” that flow back up the chain of command (through 'DISBAND' setting) suffer an experience drop”. So upon disbanding a unit, are the disbanded troops losing all their gained XP, reverting to basic training XP value (what I think), or it it retaining some of its previously-gained XP?

Art:
3- Art Bombing: I understand it’s much better to wait for an Art Unit to be full before making a bombardment. Now, if a unit is say at 50% of its ammo (re. 0.5 rounds) and 100 AP, will it shoot 10 rounds of ammo at 50% strength (what I think)? Or are there other ‘invisible’ penalties? What is the sequence exactly?
4- Art Units during hex-to-hex combat: if I do a regular direct attack with an Art Unit and other troops (not a bombardment), is the Art Unit using it’s ‘bombardment’ value and shells to give an extra bonus to the unit and the attack, or it just consume the ammo stockpile but does a regular direct land attack?

HQ and Staff Bonus:
5- I read that German Army/Russian Front leaders don’t give in-combat leadership bonus to troops - only German Corps and Russian Army leaders do so. However, does this mean troops under command of those higher-level generals still get the HQ staff XP bonus? (25% + staff xp)?
6- In your own gameplay, do you use higher-level HQ to command troops? Or do you quickly transfer command of those troops to Corps/Army leaders to benefit from the combat bonuses? (Since a lot of units start under Army/Front HQ command, it can take time and be costly to transfer them all...)

HQ and Staff Bonus:
7- Are those bonuses applying to Art Bombardment? (I don’t think so)
8- Are those bonuses applying to Air Units? (I don’t think so)
9- Are those bonuses applying to Naval Units? (I don’t think so)

HQ and Staff Bonus:
10- Is there any penalty to have HQs and Troops under foreign HQ units? (not that I can see)

Leaders:
11- Has anyone seen a document listing all the leaders and their attributes? A sort of XLS list would be handy when looking for a leader with a special skill...

Thanks all!

The CP depletion rule is to help avoid passing units around between commanders and playing cards (costing CP) on them in tandem.

If you have 12 CP as a commander and want to deplete them first and then transfer a new unit or take the 4CP and still play an action card on that unit next turn is your choice.

Best,
Vic
