Any update with this, just happened again, zip attached. Problem seems to be with carrier 1/2 loaded in 3 box that elects not to stay at sea, as with this example in timor sea..

I'll try to get to this, this weekend. I just fixed another bug related to stay at sea earlier this week.

Could this be the same bug?

I should return the German 6-movers to port from Faroes Gap (2-box), but the ports at the coast of North Sea give me that stupid "X over the circle"-cursor. Can't try to fight my way through the North Sea either, that gives me just the X-cursor. CW still has ships in North Sea that are returning to base (in addition to those that are staying out to hunt the Kriegsmarine).

So I am stuck at the end of turn "Return to base: Axis"-phase.

When you do a return to base past another sea area where there are enemy ships staying at sea, you get the x in the circle cursor. That indicates that you have to fight your way through and you activate that sequence by moving your returning ships to that sea area with a ctrl move. this gets you there for a possible intercept action.
